Natalie Sudman was born in Montana and raised in Minnesota. She worked for sixteen years as an archaeologist in the western US. In 2006 she was hired by the US Army Corps of Engineers to manage construction contracts in Iraq. In 2007, a vehicle in which she was traveling was hit by a roadside bomb. Her book The Application of Impossible Things details her experience with that incident.
About the book: This is the incredible true story of a civilian employee of the Army Corps of Engineers in Basra and Nasiriya (Iraq). She was in a truck with other men when a roadside bomb destroyed the vehicle. Her body was so severely damaged that it was impossible for her to survive. She vividly recounts her Near Death Experience (NDE), when she left her body to go to the spirit world.
There they decided that her work on Earth was not finished and, with the help of spirit guides, they repaired her body so that she could re-enter it. She retained conscious memory of what happened, and during her stay in the hospital she recovered more details. It is an amazing story of survival in war conditions.
This has happened to many others in Iraq, but how many remember the spiritual side of the experience? Before this experience, Sudman was doubtful of anything that smacked of the paranormal. This experience made her a believer. She shares her story here for the first time to show that the paranormal is normal and to help others who have had similar experiences.
This book is intended for anyone interested in near-death experiences and out-of-body experiences. It is one of the first books of its kind to come out of the Iraq conflict.
