  • Just 84 players left standing on the battlefield in the $10,000 No-Limit Short-Handed event, but it's still a bit too early to devise a strategy for the bubble: hand-for-hand play will only begin when 46 players are left. For now, our hero Davidi Kitai keeps pursuing the same goal: to accumulate as many chips as possible, and avoid landmines at a table where tough soldiers such as Scott Seiver are standing in his way. The battle resumes with Davidi loaded with 140,000 in ammo at the 1,500/3,000 blind level. Fight on!

Really hate the K7 fold. It's actually better to have K7 than AA there since his opponent is never doing that with a hand in between those two in value yet the K7 blocks 77, a hand he absolutely could play like this for value. If he folds K7 here he's basically folding EVERYTHING worse than a 9. So therefore his opponent bluffing with his misdraws here just would absolutely destroy him over the long run.
And really, what is his opponent supposed to do if he has 8 high there? Just give up every time? When Davidi also has missed draws that beat 8 high on this board? He's going to bluff quite often here, and he's often going to rep the 9 with his sizing. It's just a flat out call IMO. There are a lot of worse hands you can have here and fold, and again this is actually better blocker wise than an overpair.

NY backraise range is pretty much small pockets. But this shove on the stone cold bubble is huge pressure.
This move will make all strong Ax and mid pockets such as 88-JJ fold. Not that bad I think

@@batmanlaidashnyam8918 Yeah, it's never that fishy to be ultraaggressive with the bigger stack on the bubble. He respects Davidi enough to know that he has squeeze attempts with plenty of hands that he'll fold here. He's just obviously not folding QQ.
