- To attempt to push more growth to the 2501 Bernstrom pumpkin, I have decided to cut back on plant growth. I realized I had way too much plant still growing so have stopped most growth, especially since it is getting later in the pumpkin season. The pumpkins are continuing to grow, but of course, not as fast as I would like.

Nice looking plant on Snow White! 48 degrees this morning in my patch. Ouch! The heat is coming back next week. Nice move on terminating those secondaries. Time to grow fruit! Your plant looks really big and nice. Keep up with your fungicides watch out for PM.
I think we were right around 50 this morning. I don’t actually have a thermometer in my patch so just go off what the weather app says. I terminated another secondary this morning and will probably do 2 more later today. I may end up doing the rest of the plant soon. Been doing a pretty good job with the fungicides, but think I will be doing another application tonight. Got hit hard with powdery mildew (and aphids) last year.
Can you tell me what grow zone you’re in and day you planted it ? Not the seed, the plant.
In zone 4b. Plant went in the ground outside on May 7th.
