So the courts relaxed false accusations, and more and more women started coming forward. now this got out of control in like 2006- 2010 with guys being charged with stuff when they weren't even in the state at the time it allegeedly happened. this lead to a crack down and things got tighter. The burden of proof became so emence we cycled back to the old days of players raping women and virtually nothing happening, until ray rice suga ray'd his wife. now we're at the bottom half of the circle

I don't know, this country is being divided in so many other ways. I have a theory that our culture has been progressively screwed up, over the course of several decades, to divide men and women and, ultimately reduce marriage and reproduction rates to control population. Having worked in the family court for years. Getting a protective order denied is very telling.
It’s frightening how readily they’ll issue the protective orders, because the partner who the order is against loses their rights to own a firearm potentially for the rest of their life
@@MadMagyar13 the court sees is as better to issue the order than not and something bad happens. In my opinion it’s too lenient and does more damage than good. Look into what restrictions you have when you’re the respondent in a protective order.

How many murders of wives, x-wives, lovers, partners etc have I seen in the last couple of years being discussed on real life crime channels where the woman is ignored, discounted and defamed by the courts or police and not only do the women suffer but also the children. This player does not have my sympathy. He knew the game he was playing. Although I do not agree with the dishonest handling of any woman, in this case as far as I can tell, the man proved himself. If the tables were turned, how much belief would have been given to the woman? it is much harder for a woman to have her rights stood up for. If she has domestic problems, abused, betrayed, raped or murdered, it becomes automatically her fault. This interview has shaken all the misogynists out of the wood.

False accusations should lead to the same amount of prison time as the person being accused would be sent to if there was blatant evidence that it was a false accusation, such as this one. They have her openly admitting to trying to take his money... she lied and he lost out on hundreds of millions of $. Yet, she's probably going to walk away without fault.

My own mother pulled some unbelievable crap on me to rip me off and enlisted family members to do it, then told lies about it. Once had a woman lie and have me arrested when I ended a relationship due to her abuse. Photos of the bruises of my groin where she kicked me with sharp toed boots on surfaced and she admitted in court she lied. The judge found me not guilty, but the DA still tried to have me prosecuted even after she admitted she lied. The woman solicitor refused to file charges when I told her I was the one attacked and even after the truth came out in court, no charges were filed against her.
That type of money, maybe just once. Everyone should carry her picture and never forget who she is. She should be in jail
The crazy thing is if you ever doubt an accuser's claims, you get shouted down and told how awful you are. Yet, so many of them turn out like this.
What happened to Trevor was a miscarriage of justice. Take the lesson and don't be the next victim. The government won't act against false accusers so you need to be paranoid and put all your dates through a rigorous vetting process. Also, if you have them over, have cameras in your home. Record them entering and leaving your premises. Again, men complaining gets nothing done. Take action. Use every means at your disposal to protect your assets, your legacy, and your freedom.
And when those camera prove nothing happened you still (like Trevor Bauer now knows) have to pay thousands or millions to try to clear your name. No vetting process will fix false allegations!
False claims. Time for the court to hear the case. The money he spent. His future earnings hurt. His accuser should've gone to jail. But she'll continue to live her life as nothing had happened. Sick.

MLB undoubtedly had it out for Bauer because of his history of rebelling against them. The girl has been discredited through her own actions being exposed. None of the other accusers have amounted to anything. He's not currently under suspension or official punishment by MLB. I cannot believe he isn't being sought out by teams who need pitching and already signed. I can think of one perfect team that I follow, the MN Twins lost Sonny Gray, their best starter last year, to FA. Why aren't they, an alleged playoff team desperately in need of elite veteran pitching, going after Bauer? Its insane. Bauer has a great YT channel btw, he documented his pitching in Japan each week last season, spectacularly well done and interesting.
Unfortunately, MLB teams won't want the attention or stigma that comes with Trevor, regardless of what actually happened. This is such a screwed up world.

Best of luck Trevor. I’m a Jays fan and I still remember being disgusted with Jays fans cheering when Trevor had to get pulled from a game in the playoffs with a bad blister on his throwing hand I believe, I’ve been rooting for him ever since and I’m glad he was able to clear his name.

One of the problems with accusations like this is that it never goes away. Even when an accuser admits it was all made up, it still sticks to his reputation because so many people believe the accuser when the claims are being made, but ignore the accuser if she admits it was a lie or say things like "she is just saying it didnt happen because she is scared, or she is getting paid"

How are sports leagues able to suspend players purely on random allegations? I get that if the allegations are evidently linked to other behaviours that are seen as detrimental to the game (alcoholism, drugs, sexual violence etc), but the accusations in and of themselves, even when horrific, shouldn’t be enough.
The whole point of justice is everyone gets their day in court and until that day comes, unless there are active and evidenced behavioural reasons linked to the allegations, the players should be playing until the case has been decided.
She should be held liable. She can never pay obviously, but maybe a few years in jail on false claims?

I’m Australian and there is a pattern of this in our sport called NRL. National Rugby League. Not saying some cases are bogus. But there has been many players accused of sexual assaults by accusations. They go to the media. The media slams them. They are forced out. Then down the line the court has thrown it out meanwhile all the damage is done and that players career, integrity, livelihood, family, reputation is ruined. There needs to be recourse of damages for false accusations

Currently in Canada, we have five hockey players going on trial. Four from the NHL, one was playing in Europe.
Surprisingly, they’ve been suspended with pay while the trial is ongoing. I was pleasantly surprised the NHL didn’t go as far as the MLB.
MLB should be liable for Trevor's loss of income for his suspension. Also the girls legal team should be held accountable for trying to get a settlement knowing they were withholding evidence.
