@@artmelon5370 in the latest chapter(the second to last chapter), the huge plot hole that has been in the story since chapter 1- Mikasa’s line, “see you later, Eren”, is finally explained and Eren and Mikasa are in an alternate timeline or universe where they are living a peaceful life and ran away from the war we are seeing in the present. But instead of them living that peaceful life, they instead choose a different route(which is our current timeline) and mikasa comes to terms with the ultimate desicion to kill eren and she tells Eren she’ll see him later because she knows he’ll be reborn(I think). With that being said, the chapter ends with mikasa decapitating Eren and kissing him.

I find it so interesting how Mikasa seemed more enthusiastic in the ova than the actual anime. It may be because she’s so excited about see Shiganshina with Eren, but it may even be because she isn’t as calm and chill without her Ackerman instinct and because of what the experience of her parents fate that have her seen hell and back.

It is true that Ackerman can’t transform into titan and were used to serve the king, but you find out later that there is no such thing as mikasa’s blood manifesting to serve eren, it was genuine love, one sided yes, but love nonetheless.
Eren only told her that to keep her and armin away from him, he didn’t believe it nor wanted to do it, he cares about them.
But please, next time, when someone who is further than you in the story corrects you, don’t act all mighty and all knowing when you clearly aren’t.

it was obviously mikasa herself. theres a part of mikasa that keeps denying the fact that eren had died, so that part of her created an alternate reality where she avoids all the unfortunate events that could lead to erens death. but despite of the changes, the mirror man comes in and tells her that erens death is inevitable, even in an alternate reality. she can literally see her reflection on the mirror mans face, its like shes talking to herself.
You can see the grown up Mikasa in the mirror man in a particular shot.

The fact Mikasa stood there in horror instead of throwing hands at the men beating up Eren goes to show she was conditioned to be violent indirectly caused by Eren asking her to fight when he got choked by the human trafficker.

I'm starting to think this was actually the "Good" ending/best outcome for the series.
Mikasa's family is still alive, she has a little brother, SHE MOVES ON FROM EREN AND BE HAPPY, Proving she CAN live a happy life without him.

I'll just assume that Marley won the war against the Mid East alliance early and get to take all their resources.
And since that was the very reason why they needed the founding Titan in the first place, there was no need for the warrior program anyway.
Allowing the Paradisans to live in peace while Marley enjoys the spoils of war.

No need for the Rumbling,

@@wishylane this is an alternate reality she made up in her mind because there was a part of her that refused to accept eren's death. she changed the unfortunate events to avoid eren from dying (like when she made the kidnappers get eaten by wolves to save her parents, she removed the titan wall breach, she adjusted things to spend more time with eren, etc.). but despite of the changes, there are still things that are inevitable like eren giving her his scarf and mika's ackerman powers getting activated. also, the thing she avoided the most still happened. eren died by attempting to pass outside the walls to save armin (like on the canon timeline where he died on a titans mouth to save armin). the biggest foreshadowing in this ova: mikasa can never change eren's fate. even if she creates tons of different alternate realities, his path will always lead to one thing.
