- This is not going to end well... Endless BBQ Ribs vs one hungry man? Today we visit Montana's Bbq & Bar to try out their all you can eat ribs! The endless ribs costs $30 and is served with 2 sides (salad and coleslaw is what i chose but included many other options line bbq beans). You can then get unlimited refills off 1/3 racks, where as your first order is a full rack of bab back pork ribs. You had the options of their different sweet, smokey, and spicy bbq sauces. Will we get kicked out of this all you can eat, and/ cut off at the buffet? Tune in to find out as we try to beat this buffet and check out their BBQ in this food challenge!

I love how humble Mr Joel is. He’s a very good looking man to all the women and is not a douche bag. Carries himself in a humbled manner and I respect him for that. Hey Joel I work at the Montanas in Belleville. Are ribs come in raw. we put a dry rub on them and smoke them with Hickey wood chips. I'm glad you enjoyed the ribs and dining expirence.

I just got out of the hospital for chemo treatment, was in for 2 weeks. My roommate heard me watching you doing a sushi challenge, he shouted "Is that Joel the food guy?!?. I love him!!!"
Damn, that was something else. I loved the Staff's attitude and the fact that they were all in disbelief. The ribs looked tasty, and struck a nice balance between overly dry and way too sauce covered. In fact, they actually looked better and better as they came out, right down to that last succulent, meaty rib. I'll bet the staff took a bunch of photos of those two bone buckets and showed them to all their incredulous family and friends!

Yes 32 refills was the correct final number. At 12:20 was 11 & 12, at 13:40 you again counted as 11 & 12 (was actually 13 & 14). You were two behind after that. Amazing meal dude! So impressive!

Since there’s fat on the ribs pickles are usually served to cut the fat in your mouth. It helps a lot.

Use to work at Montana’s as a bartender! Ribs were smoked in house every night for 12 hours, loved working on AYCE nights and seeing how much people could eat

Looks great. I went to another chain restaurant that had all you can eat ribs. The first two plates were great. After the quality got worse 😢. Now I just get cooked ribs from Costco when I want ribs

Yum! AUCE is just that, so enjoy it all with no guilt. They aren't losing money, because most aren't eating $30 worth of ribs; especially, if they order them with sauce. Hell, they're making money at that price. I wish we had that kind of place near me.

You can. He's not magic. I don't know Joel personally, but I know other competitive eaters that are still fit. They generally only eat once a day when they're eating large, or even skipping a whole day of eating. Also, by his shape you can tell Joel spends a lot of time doing resistance training.

They should ban competitive eaters because they are eating all the food which means other patrons don't get to eat and will be upset that the restaurant doesn't have any food and they'll give the restaurants bad reviews.

Probably precooked ribs in a cryovac that they throw on the grill to warm up. That's when they add the sauce. Ribs are boiled or baked before being packaged for distribution.

you have to earn money to be considered professional like anything else. so either eat so much you win contests or have a palet that allows you to work as a food taster.

Impressive. I was thinking back to the time I went to the unlimited ribs one night with a group, and had to see if there were any records on how much one person had.
Nowhere near the amount you had, I think I got up to around 3 full racks. (Something like 28 "ribs".) Not too bad for a skinny 120 LB guy who out ate someone over twice my weight by nearly twice the amount.
All because it turned into a competition with another guy guy at the table on who could eat more, and he was only able to finish a couple more than me, capping off at 30.
Restaurant will go bankrupt because of you Joel lol... you are the best man!

I think any "All You Can Eat" should include the original meal with sides. And from a professional eater it should be pre-arranged. Imagine the owners having to turn away other patrons when one person is only one price earned.
I think it would save them money too.
You think? It’s called ‘all you can eat ribs’. Not all you can eat ‘meals’. Montana’s is a very popular chain; they will have 100’s of lbs of ribs ready to go. Imagine a restaurant able to serve and deliver on their promises to all patrons. The advertisement for the restaurant through this video is the cheapest they’ve ever had; he also told them he was doing this and they were cool. They didn’t turn anyone away. Think again.

Years ago there was a restaurant in Charlotte North Carolina that was called O Brian’s baby back ribs.
Back when I ate ribs like a fiend, we would go there and pig out.
If I recall correctly they would have an all you could eat rib night on Tuesday evenings. These were pretty good sized, danish baby back ribs. At that time, those had 12-14 ribs per rack. The most I ever ate was 3 1/2 racks and that was a big struggle. Plus they had sides that were pretty good too!
They should name that booth after you...lol
