Saying yes to apocalypse michael was by far the dumbest thing he could’ve done if i was in dean’s position im just giving up like lucifer got it there is no hope i’d rather get deleted than give up my body to an angel like apocalypse michael
Yeah! Like it would’ve made so many situations make more sense and allow Sam to possibly create an future Antichrist on the level of Jack and a good and evil cycle happens again
@@millasboo seeing visions of the future would have been nice. It suck’s that it was just a season 1 and 2 thing, even after Adam drank more Demon blood. It also would have helped so many problems. Sure he would have to go through withdrawals but it would have been for the greater good. It also doesn’t make sense that he lost his powers, like how does yellow eyes dying take away his powers?
Would have been interesting if Sam had to eat souls to kill God in the last season like he had to drink the demon blood. Guess they gave that job to Jack with the God bomb plot.
On Sam’s magic: Rowena, the most powerful witch is impressed with Sam’s capabilities and I believe says that he could be a great warlock/wicken if he chose that path. Rowena has also talked about how most people couldn’t work the truly powerful spells, since they require a level of “magical talent”. Considering sam does things like open doors to other dimensions, I’d say it’s very reasonable to assume he’s got a decent amount of magic.
I wish the boys would gain and keep more powers. Not like a lot, but Sam and Dean's arc long powers always gave the seasons a sense of not only cohesion, but also of moving forward.
About Sam's black eyes; I've noticed on rewatches of Season 4 that almost every time he uses his powers, his eyes seem to darken; not the whole eyes, but just the irises, like they're as black as the pupils. Each time it could potentially be explained as just a light trick or something, but the camera DOES focus on his eyes, so I believe it to be intentional. Most notably this happens when he banishes Samhain and when he's in the car on the way to where Dean is torturing Alastair; that's of course the episode when it's revealed that Sam's been drinking demon blood and has just drunk a bunch from Ruby. So yeah, the black eyes in the last episode don't come out of left field for me. I wonder whether this was ever confirmed in behind-the-scenes, interviews, etc., though.
@@Aghhori Yeah. There is a scene in one episode where Castiel, who doesn't really understand how swearing works, yells, "Hey, Assbutt!" at Lucifer seconds before lobbing a Molotov cocktail at him. It struck me as silly. Even funnier, everytime my phone yells Assbutt!, my dog comes running like I just called his name. I swear I didn't name my dog Assbutt, it's Marvin.
Anyone get vibes when he said "they're in REALLY good shape"?😂 Loving this channel btw, about time we got a decent CZcamsr that covers supernatural lore❤❤❤❤❤
Sam used the dream root in 1 episode, but Dean uses dream root again in season 8 episode 20 Pac-Man fever. He does this to enter Charlie’s mind to prevent her from dying because of the gyn
Yeah I wish they had display and explored this power for more than just one episode. Also wasn't it stated that the blood of Azazel is what made Sam the perfect vessel for Lucifer?
@@tyrellrivera Sam and Dean are decedents of Cain, which is what makes them both perfect vessels. Sam was Lucifer’s perfect vessel before he was even born. A cupid angel was told that it was very important Mary and John get together, so it was always apart of Chuck’s plan. I think the power’s he got from Azazel were specifically so he’d be able to kill Lilith and break the final seal.
This was a fun video! Yeah I reckon witchcraft is a power, it seems like the more you do it, the more powerful a witch you become - like Rowena and Ada if we're including The Winchesters haha. Which is a cool power because you don't necessarily have to be born without it - I'd definitely be trying witchcraft first if I got dropped in the Supernatural world!
If I arrived in the supernatural universe, I'd immediately want to steal some powers. Something like god, amara, jack and death would be out of the question, and angels/demons don't really GIVE you powers they more just hijack your body. If i have angels or demons after me immediately on arrival id probably try and steal powers from a high-level pagan god like Zeus. That guy was badass. If i had time however, i would steal the natural abilities of a witch like Rowena. powerwise, she was right up there with Gabriel and Crowley, but she did have to LEARN how to use magic overtime. Fairy power might be useful, but their level of power is a bit nebulous and comes with extreme OCD.
Dude you rock! I just found you earlier today and I have sat and watched like 5 videos in a row. You should have wrote for the show. Please keep making more. 👍😀
I just want to say that the creators should have expanded on Sam Powers and stated that it was his destiny to gain those powers but it's up in the air as to if Sam will be good or evil which could have been an interesting story plot point for the series like they could have made that Sam didn't need to drink demon blood but it does give a boost to his power like there could have been episodes where Sam could bring it and Dean would passively agree that it will be an absolute last resort
I wished he used his demon magic powers more as last resort in later scenes give . A boost a kil demons wit it by drink theri blood. and get out of the addictio n o of the with blood using it up or rarely using the power
@@silvertongue.242_99 remember before they killed Ruby she said that it was never about demon blood they could have made it so Sam gave in and learned how to use his abilities without drinking demon blood but knew it would give him a power up so the brothers could have said that used drinking demon blood as a last resort to boost Sam up if needed
What about when Sam over came the devil. He was able to pull Micheal into the pit with him. The strongest at that moment. I believe he uses some of the devils physical strength. Not downing the moment. Just trying to give him more lol
You can also argue that Lilith wasn't trying to kill Sam with that death light majigger. Since she would've known Sam's importance to Lucifer's plan. So I don't know if he'd really immune
My head canon for sam was during the ritual process to close the gates of hell theres a line about it purifying him so that he would be able to close the gates. As well I think that is why the process was so hard on sam. If some one else like dean had done it I think it would not have ravaged him that badly. The demon blood had permeated sam’s entire being affecting his soul.
What I'd really like to see hear an explanation as to why in the start of the show, neither one of them could really match a vampire hand to hand. Then by the middle to end of the show they could box with demons. It's almost like they got base ramps from all the changes they went through
I think the best in universe reason is experience and this is best exemplified when Dean takes on a half a dozen demons at Cains farmhouse. He does fight them but not clean, he dodged, uses available objects, and turns their own momentum against them. He’s simply better at fighting in a way where his punch isn’t ever needed he fights demons by evading attack until he can get to a weapon that’ll actually be useful. Real world answer is a TERRIBLE power creep haha
I think after 10-15 year's of fighting you would learn a lot and also become more resilient so it's probably just from experience. It's like saying why did Mike Tyson get bullied as a child yet becomes able to be 1 of the most feared boxers on the planet year's later.
Sam should have used more magic in the show with all the magical feats he could o like portal to hell, rasing dead, hex bags, magical weaponsand wards. But both of them could do that but seem like Sam infinty for it
Well if you watch the end of the series, they end up having the luck of Hercules just that true hero’s don’t win the lottery or have super perfect lives but not sweating the little things and being on your game again
I wish we would've found out the reason Dogs were sent to be "man's best friend". It always felt like such a kick in the nuts that Dean's power stopped before finding out what it was.
I wonder who'd win in a fight between Demon Blood fuelled Sam and Mark of Cain Dean? Cain is technically a Demon, but he's highly resistant to supernatural attacks, but Sam may be able (Hehe..Cain and Abel) to forcibly remove the Mark so.....Idontknow?
amara shuould have become dean vessel in the end for balance with chuck then sam or jack getting chuck powers in the end. Dean gaining her powers or using it as his darkpowers would be cool since she liked. he would and get an idea on how she feel as darkness andher sunstoppale power so they cna have deeper connection him understandning.
Dean, I think has an ability where if a loved one is possessed and beating him. He can bring out the actual person so they can regain control when Bobby was possessed by a demon. And beating on Dean, Bobby took control. And stabbed himself instead of Dean, when Lucifer was possessing Sam. And beating on Dean. He was talking directly to sam and sam was able to take control and jump in the hole. Does that count as an ability for Dean?
14:13 does anybody know what this spell actually did? As i understood it, it was some fake spell to sell the story to chuck, but the spell did work with those blue beams and the deathbook lighting up
They were basically immortal at the start and blessed with extra luck. Angels told they had died before, but show had to go on as planned, and they wiped their memories and returned them. Chuck had them running with extra luck, because no-one wanted to read about boring stuff. Dean died on his first hunt after they were freed from following story and clipped Chuck, so was he really even a good hunter compared to many who had grown oldish doing what they do, like Bobby and Rufus?
