At the hospital, Todd tells Starr about Kate's involvement in Cole and Hope's death, as well as her DID alter, Connie. He overheard Kate and Alexis talking. So he threatened Sonny with headlines about Kate to force him to get Michael to change his testimony. Todd thought she had a right to know even though he violated his pact with Sonny. But he has another secret for her. When you care about someone, you tell them the truth, even if it is unpleasant. It gives them the opportunity to start to heal. Starr has to leave and Todd implores her not to exact revenge. Maybe they can be better people and not do things they will later regret.
Kate asks what Johnny made her do, but suddenly Starr comes in dressed like a nurse. She knows she is the one who killed Cole and Hope. Kate tells her she did it, but does not remember anything because she has a mental illness. Starr actually understands because of her cousin Jessica. It was easier to blame Sonny because he is such a bad person. But she can't blame Kate. But, someday Kate will remember everything Connie did and she will have to live with it.
