Until I was 18 I was into rock/AOR/metal like Judas Priest/Scorpions/Sweet/Rush/Journey/Boston/Styx etc then I started going to clubs and fell in love with HiNRG, Italo and Eurodisco. I think I am attracted to the energy and complexity in both but thought I was unusual in liking both genres! I still enjoy rock but Italo is my happy place ❤🇮🇹
My first two own CDs that I bought with the money I had got for my birthday in August 1988 were "Constrictor" by Alice Cooper and "Savage Amusement" by the Scorpions. I was 11 years old back then. ;)
@@mirkohirsch_official Am a bit older I guess as my 1st Scorpions album was the classic Lovedrive and Alice's only album I bought was From The Inside cos I loved Bob Ezrin's work on Destroyer by KISS.

Hello Galina - the two musical favourites I have are 80s Italo Disco/Synth Pop/Eurodisco and 80s AOR/Melodic Rock/Hard Rock.
Some of my songs have originally written as rock versions, such as Linda Jo Rizzo's "There's a Fire", my "Best of Friends", "Queen of Ice", "Love Hurts" etc.
My main focus will always be 80s synth/Italo style.
Many Italo Disco producers of the 80s and New Gen are also fans of rock music such as Mauro Farina (he had a rock band before he started with Italo Disco (Radiorama)), Vince Lancini (Scotch), Ken Laszlo, Eddy Mi Ami, Dave Rodgers/Aleph and many others.
And I can already tell you that today at midnight, a Eurodisco song in Silent Circle/Retronic Voice style will be uploaded. ;)
So there's something for everyone. :)
