It doesn't sound deeper. It echoes inside the megaphone which makes it sound like a mild reverb effect. This is what you would expect because the packing wasn't restrictinh airflow, it was muting the reverb in the pipe. Overall, it sounds roomier, has more prescence.
Got the same pipe and your right it's hard to tell the difference on the vid. At least you didn't do it indoors. I hate it when people do that cause it's not the real sound.

Stephen Gross V&H pro pipe map with High Flow Air Filter. Ran two tanks on auto tune and the bike feels great. Turned the throttle progressively to 1:1, turned the decal pop setting to 1, and it runs really smooth.

Your bike sounds much better. Im going to do the same thing to my RR2 and then re-tune my FP3. Any tips for removal or is it an easy job?

How you remove packing?
Juan M remove the muffler. Unscrew the baffle and remove it. I cut it with a knife and some heavy duty scissors.
