    This video contains:
    1) Toroidal Plasma Generator: an intricate dance of high intensity/high frequency electric and magnetic fields produce a ring of glowing plasma within a glass sphere containing noble gasses at low pressure. This BagleGen device is the latest in high tech kinetic art by creator Zerg Dragonymous. What most amazes me here is how these very complex fields can be produced by circuit of only a few components- the main structure in the base is a cooling fan with a huge heat sink attached to a MOSFET transistor that sits centered below the induction coil. An amazing device for the serious hobbyist!
    2) Homopolar Motor Type 2
    3) Perpetual Dolphin Wheel
    4) Turner’s Cube: made from a single piece of aluminum this piece of metalworking art has a long tradition in the training of apprentice machinists. Amazingly this can be made, or “turned”, on a lathe.
    5) Harry Potter’s Mirror Shard
    6) Natural Fiber Optic Conduit: a special crystalline form of the mineral gypsum acts as a natural fiber optic image conduit in this square cut specimen with polished ends. Morocco seems to be the main source of this fibrous form, called satin spar gypsum, which exhibits pearl like luster and chatoyancy along two axes and transparency along the direction of the fibers. Each natural crystal microfiber extends the length of the rod and acts like a man made glass fiber where the index of refraction is just right to allow internal reflection to propagate light from one end to the other.
    7) Electric Motor Build
    8) Sympathetic Resonance
    9) String Hyperboloid: (exploratorium) 26 strings held straight by hanging weights can be rotated as a set to produce a hyperboliod- the quadric surface related to the revolution of hyperbola around its axis of symmetry. Note that although this 3D shape is curved, an a infinite set of straight lines (like those of the strings) lie on its surface. Turning the top disk of this exhibit raises the weights on each string so that when it is released the potential energy will transfer back and forth to kinetic energy of rotation until the energy is damped out due to friction. 🌟 With thanks to the Exploratorium!
    10) Paradox Inverse Flow Timer
    11) Lenticular Space Station V: an original 3D postcard from the year 1968 produced to promote the release of 2001: A Space Odyssey. The image features an orbiting transfer station that spins to produce a sense of gravity with spaceplanes seen en route. 3D cards such as these are comprised of an array of thin cylindrical lenses placed over interlaced multiple images so that each eye sees a different view creating the perception of depth. A vintage futuristic 3D card for perhaps the most futuristic movie of all time!

    So cool about the tuning forks!! Why did Egyptians use tuning fork I wonder? To help move this or cut things!? Idk but awesome

      @Paolo_-_ Před 13 dny

      Nikola Tesla tried to make the world understand that, using the same principle of the tuning fork, i.e. with coils tuned together, electricity could be transmitted through the earth... for the Egyptians what you say is true, as the frequency varies the Material properties change.

    What hurts is knowing how much Nikola Tesla gave "us", then knowing how little we did for him! I wish that one day the world will cultivate and appreciate the thinkers and use their gifts to bring the world together in good health, peace, and happiness. ❤🙏

      The only people who are in it for themselves are politicians. You misunderstand why Tesla and other scientists work: it is for the thrill of the chase and the joy of discovery, when after much hard work it finally comes.
