Thank you for taking the time out and make these videos. I start medical Assistant classes in February so I thank you for the guidance and being from NYC just make’s it better
I’m hoping by then, I’ve healed enough from my small surgery to go back to school for this too.
Awwh, no problem! You’ll do great! Good luck! 👏🏾
Don’t rush your healing. School will always be there! 🫶🏾
how are they?
I enjoyed this video. It's rare to find a good video of day In lifes of cna, cna/pcts, rns, you get the point and I watch these videos a lot. Thank you and God bless!
Thank you so much! I try not to record so much cause I don’t want it to be boring. 😭
I hate when ppl come to to the Dr office and get nasty with ya for no reason and then don't even know ya like go somewhere else with that nasty attitude if ya ain't gone talk to me right. Ion like that.
Yesssss! Like we can both get disrespectful, I’m not a actual nurse yet!!! 😭
Facts. I had to light up dermatology at the end of September because of a major issue that I had spoken to them about.
Loved this!!! ❤
Starting my externship as a medical assistant next month super nerves I loved ur videos 😊
Don’t be! The externship will be fun.. at least my site was. 😭 But you do learn more during your externship. & thank youuu! 🩷
HEY NEW SUBBIE HERE!! I'VE BEEN A MEDICAL ASSISTANT 15 YEARS IN PRIMARY CARE SETTING, I'M SOOOO DRAINED LOL!! I WILL BE STARTING AS A REMOTE MEDICAL ASSISTANT FOR VIRTUAL VISIT, SOOOOO EXCITED BUT ALSO I FEEL LIKE IMMA MISS MY HANDS ON SKILLS!!!! BUT I'M ALSO A CNA/GNA/CMA (PRN) AT A NURSING HOME, SO I'LL BE ABLE TO STILL PRACTICE SOME SKILLS!!!
Omgggg!! I wanna switch over to remote MA so bad!! I just don’t know how I will balance a remote job plus school. & yess, I feel like I will miss the hands on part. 🤣
New subscriber ❤ I start my MA program next month and then I’ll be otw to nursing school next year in fall 😊. Omg I hated Anp1 & AnP2 lol
I’m sooooo over these classes already!!!! 🤣
Do a Q&A
Heyyy Shay, how you doing? Since u like clinical side more I think u should do a Saturday to do clinical side and do a clinical vlog. I think 2 12hr days a week is a good idea.... Wat you think?
I'm thinking about getting an MA job at an urgent care to learn how to do more stuff and gain more experience. Ion know how true this is but I heard some ppl say primary care or urgent care to cause u learn how to do more stuff. This song "snooze" is my song lol
Definitely do primary or urgent care. You get to learn a little bit of everything. Once you get comfortable, branch off into a specialty. & for October I already picked up two FD shifts. 😩🤦🏾♀️
@@Its.shaymarie Ohh okay, we can see a Front desk vlog then lol
This is awesome. Are you currently in school? With your journey if you are in school, do you take classes online or does your work schedule accommodate to your school schedule?
Thank you in advance
I honestly am taking a few semesters off. But my classes were on campus. My job schedule didn’t align with school, so I had to go down to per diem at work.
@@Its.shaymarie thank you . I appreciate you taking the time to clarify that. I hope everything works out for you. I struggle trying to find that balance in trying to get my science pre-reqs while getting clinical experience and working full time.
I’ll pray for you though. Healthcare is a long and rough journey ❤️🩹
Where are you from if you don't mind me asking? Are you from SC?
New York.
Hi I wanted to know Was your first weeks were hard?
Not necessarily hard, but a lot of information to remember. Especially if you’re working both administrative & clinical.
I start my MA classes soon any tips?
Study, ask questions, and be confident. 🙂 & congrats on starting!! 👏🏾
@@Its.shaymarie thank you! i will remember that
I'm not on tictock
Awwwh, it’s okay! I heard it will be banned in the USA next year.
Im from hobartinxiana
Where is that? 🤔
Hii my sister am living in africa uganda what do u think if I take the course can get job I have a plan to go canada
Yes, you’ll be able to get a job. You may have to take a test to be certified or registered in Canada once you come.
Is medical assistant a stressful job??
Yessss! ☹️
I wouldn’t say it was stressful, but it definitely depends on where you work. I worked in urology and pain medicine and it was very stressful. I wouldn’t recommend no one work in urology. Now I work in midwives and my job isn’t stressful at all. It’s so much better
Hey shay h[w ya doin
Heyyyy! 👋🏾 I’m good, how are you? 🩷
Hey shay have stopped breast feeding
