    Thank you so much for the video! It helped a lot. I just bought and installed the battery tender for my 300. The battery died over the winter time due to neglect

    I dropped the little washer thing on the negative side battery, it’s still charging so it should be fine right?

    Thank you very much for this tutorial, exactly what I was looking for and has all the info needed :D

    Always place positive connector on first and negative(black)should be hooked onto another metal part of the bike away from the battery for safety reasons.Great video though

    Hi so what
    If I tried jumping my motorcycle with a car and it worked for a second then it stopped charging so I went to buy a new battery and then the bike started running I took it around the neighborhood and then turned it off but once I did that it didn’t turn on again and sounds like the battery is dead again did I install it wrong ?

    I've done all this and my Motocycle battery is still dead! I've used the battery tender to charge the battery for like a day but it NEVER charges above 5v. Does this mean I need a new battery? This is my first bike ever and I have no idea what I'm doing. PLEASE HELP!

      You might have a dead battery - for mine it only worked for a short while till I had to change the battery. It's normal that a battery might need to be replaced after 3-4 years.

    Hey question here maybe u can help me...i havent driven my bike for about a month now and now it wont start....all AC lights go on but as soon as i start it...it just clicks like it tries to turn on. Could it be a low charged battery?

    • @YiyeTinkers
      @YiyeTinkers  Před 3 lety +2

      Yes that's exactly how it behaved when the battery was out of charge

      @@tasadar1695 if your bike has a digital clock the clock is always drawing a tiny bit of battery to ensure the time is always correct. So if you let your bike site for a couple weeks and the clock is constantly drawing that juice it will be just enough to keep you from starting. I get it all the time come winter when I ride a bit less.

    it is okay to let the battery charge as long as we want?

    • @YiyeTinkers
      @YiyeTinkers  Před 2 lety

      The charger should be smart enough to know when to stop. So yes it’s okay to keep the battery fully charged
