Where is the fuse box on a Ford Tourneo?
    What do car fuses do?
Fuses are included on all your car's various electrical circuits to protect components from surges of electricity. If too much current flows through the circuit, the fuse will blow -- interrupting the circuit and halting the flow of electricity, protecting the components further down the circuit.

What type of fuses are used in cars?
Most automobile fuses used in vehicles today are one of three types: mini, standard or maxi. The mini and standard are fast-acting fuses that protect the majority of your vehicle's circuits, including those for lights and radios.

What fuse can cause a car not to start?
A blown fuse in the starter circuit could be the cause of a no-start problem. Broken or corroded wiring - Damaged or dirty wires to the battery or to the starter solenoid (or wires that are loose) can prevent sufficient power from reaching the starter.

Do all cars use the same fuses?
A fuse is composed of a housing, fuse element and contacts, and they vary in size and configuration. They come in either blade or cartridge-style. ATO fuses and ATC fuses are regular-sized automotive blade fuses. They are interchangeable, provided the amperage rating is the same.

Can you use any fuse in a car?
Not all car fuses are the same, and most cars have multiple fuses of varying sizes for different electrical components. When you are replacing a car fuse, it is essential to replace the blown fuse with a new one of the same type and size. You should also never replace a blown fuse with one of a higher amperage rating.

Should I replace all the fuses in my car?
Make sure you get a reputable brand. Replacing all the fuses should not cause any problems with your car, unless you get the fuses wrong, or don't fully seat them etc. On balance, much better off just testing them all with a meter.
    mechanics.stac...
How do you check if a fuse is good?
    Test the fuse.
If you don't hear any noise coming from the meter, then the fuse is blown and should be replaced. If you're using a digital multimeter set to measure resistance, touch the probes together to get an initial reading. Then put the probes on either side of the fuse and check if the reading is similar.

How do you tell if a fuse is blown without a multimeter?
Put one wire to neutral/common, and one wire on the line side of the fuse. If voltage is present the bulb will light up. Now move the wire from the line side to the load side of the fuse. If the fuse is good the light will come on.

Hi it’s inside the car and I’ve checked on autodata Ford Tourneo 2017-2021. Only coming up with information on rear washer pump F9 15amp fuse. Will upload a picture on community page. Hope this helps. Thanks 🙏🏽

@@TajMotorMedics it’s all sorted now Taj, basically there isn’t a specific windshield one. It’s runs off the rear water pump as the pump has a rear and front water outlet.
      Thanks again.

Hi, the location of the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) fuse in a 2018 Ford Tourneo may vary depending on the specific model and trim level. However, in most cases, the DRL fuse is located in the engine compartment fuse box.
To locate the engine compartment fuse box, open the hood and look for a rectangular black plastic box near the battery. Once you have located the fuse box, open the cover and look for the fuse labeled "DRL" or "Daytime Running Lights." The label should indicate the amperage rating of the fuse as well.
If you are unable to locate the DRL fuse in the engine compartment fuse box, consult your vehicle's owner's manual or contact your local Ford dealership for further assistance.
