Soooo true. I've lost multiple friends. Not because of politics, I honestly don't care what side you're on, truly. The extremes go a bit far to me, but you do you. One of my friends kept saying "well I'd still vote for Trump. Biden is asleep, he doesn't even know where he is, he's totally senile." Back before Biden dropped out.
My response was, "it doesn't matter, I'd vote for a shoelace before I support Trump."
He is a danger to the globe. This is the problem, why do you think everyone tries to meddle in American elections but you don't hear much about Russian interference in say Spain's elections. Its cause the US has taken on the role of basically a global police force. Their presence is enough to deter most countries from doing something stupid. Dictators have a vested interest in destabilizing American democracy, and causing a pull back from the global stage. They are trying to sow chaos in the population. DJT knows this and plays into it even heavier cause he knows it can only help him.

It's like believing that liars won't make eye contact; they still will. There's no "if you follow these criteria, you're (x)." No. Many people's minds jump from thing to thing and they make connections, frankly, faster than others, and their excitement can trip them up. Trauma regarding words being twisted makes people over-explainers.
