I think that when you get a new prospect play him on the 1st or 2nd line to maximize his growth, I feel like a lot of young guys loose potential playing on the 4th line
As a Utahn, so hyped for more.
Trade everything for bedard
Maybe try to trade Dostal and a small haul of picks and young guys for a 1 or 2C
Trade everyone over 25 and tank. Build through the draft, don't sign high overall free agents every summer just cause there's the cap room to do it. If you need to, sign 1 79-80 ovr guy to a 5+ mil deal just to hit cap floor every season until your young guys grow and want bigger contracts

Huuhtanen is a cheat code. I almost always sign him. If he gets playing time, easy 85-88. Same with Dmitry Rachevsky, he would only cost a future fourth and he can become an 89+. Love the videos man!

I also gave Ridley Greig Off The Rush but as a gold X factor and Thunderclap as a superstar X Factor. Also edited his Slap Shot power and accuracy to 99 OVR.

10+ million for a player that isn't even in the 90s is definitely risky. Also that is one of the best first year expansion mode AHL teams I have seen, usually they are filled with players in the 50s.

VERY IMPORTANT PSA: Sign somebody for like $10 million for one year, because if you have too much cap space when the year begins, the game will just make your current players make more. It’s dumb but it happens all the time. Maybe sign some vet to a final payday.

Ive always wanted an nhl game but here in the uk they are expensive however nhl 24 is currently on offer so i purchased it.
I want to watch youtube videos of people controlling a team in the nhl and trying to win the stanley cup.
So far all i can find is either be a pro or people simming games and that isnt what im looking for.
Im wanting to see gameplay, people actually playing the games, not simming or be a pro.
Is there actually anyone out there who people can recommend who do this.
