I... somehow went from casual to meta slaving again. Therefore, I have made so many mistakes and regretful decisions, though most of them are the lack of doing things. From things like investing into Sumire and Kayoko to not crafting furniture and getting comfy, I go through all of them, and I hope it kind of helps you.
I'm currently playing Blue Archive (ブルーアーカイブ) on both LD Player and Bluestacks 5 and still trying to determine which one is better.

I feel getting stronger for PvE content(incl raid) is more imp for long term progress then pvp. PvP in BA is just a fun side thing that shouldn't be a main focus if you don't plan to spend a ton of money.
The only bricking is dropping resources into characters you will never use, but there is a lot of content so a lot of characters get used, which is 👍

My biggest tip is try to get to world 10 to start farming Tier 4 equipments. Tanks will get +1000 Defense from T4 bag and DPS will get damage bump on Critical rate and Critical damage. Also you can get Tier 2 equipment from world 10 stages so no need to farm world 2 anymore.
Kotama. focus on your Kotama, she's an absolute core unit for everyone, even the whales use her.
Regarding pushing to unlock nodes, its absolutely worth it since those T4 nodes also drop T2 gear. T4 equips are huge since they give extra sub stats. T4 bag makes Tsubaki absolutely disgusting since it increases her def by 1000 (she has
BA is basically Pricon but much better in almost every way. I'm pretty much dropping Pricon for BA because BA actually has gameplay that makes me pay attention and characters & story that are worth paying attention to.
Prioritise story stages for equipments rather than commission. Story stages drops exp mats too on top of equipments.
Yes, commission is really inefficient until you can clear the later stages. There are also 2x drop periods to farm exp. It's recommended to farm gear because you'll be sweeping chapter 10 for a while to get T4 equipment. You can get a decent amount of exp there
I made the same mistake with the overpass for a few days as well. Tbf the game literally doesn't tell you that it drops the lower tier mats as well

@@godfreychoy4101 yeh it happens. Nw though since you werent really losing out on much. Itll take you a while to need the higher tier mats anyways.
Yoshimi is a hidden sleeper. She launches a aoe to targetable location stuns and blows up. u can save a lot of hp by hitting the back of the enemy with her.
you can also passively get the character shards you pick in lesson, where you also raise relationship with them as well. if possible, try to be efficient in lessons

One tips from me, when crafting, always prioritize 'Radiant' node since its rare and give you the highest tier mats/exp/3★ furniture
Dude, keep focusing on your Haruna cause her skill becomes 3 cost at max lvl which pretty much makes her a go2 for pvp/raids
Haruna will be useful once you reach mission 10 and above where there are blue enemies and your realize its only her and Chise as your main blues not to mention you need her against Tsubaki in Arena. You’re lucky with your PVP bracket. I couldn’t go past rank 2000 since there are so many whales on my bracket. I’ll just have to wait for the brackets to reset to push for top 1. Having no Shun really sucks but I cannot afford to reroll anymore.
When the bracket resets, can you get gems again if you push up the rankings or will that only happen if you push higher than the rank you had in the previous bracket?
@@Lucky-jg2on Yes everything resets so you can get the pyroxene from going back up the ranks.
@@Lucky-jg2on That’s the plan. Didn’t hit top 1 in Priconne during launch but I did it when it the brackets reset. Just gotta wait.
Lvl44 player here and highest I got in my bracket in PvP was rank 7. Don’t have Hibiki and that has left me capped out. But I’m usually stuck in top100 which is totally fine. 30 gems per day is good civilization.
Yoshimi has been my replacement for Hibiki, for the time being. That stun is great!
I had to roll 100 times as well for Tsubaki! Got Haruna, Iori, and Shun but no Tsubaki and also i didnt know that the higher overpass missions drop the lesser ones! I learned today ty!
Mistake #0: Wasting time on commissions. The cost and the drop rate is not even worth the stam for those. Better do the cheapest one for weekly/daily.
You get your stam worth out of sweeping hard modes and story modes. You’re level 37 and I noticed that the your students doesn’t even have t3 gear. Sweeping them gives out exp and the upgrades. Unless your prioritizing t3+ for students
Another tip is to prioritize your gear. Dps gear for dps, tank gear for tanks etc. And the first item in the rewards list has the highest drop rate.

I would recommend talking about the shops for raids and pvp tokens. Like buying out all the characters if possible. Especially Maki and Akane for raids. I also don't have Shun and I regret it. I got Aru, Hibiki, Tsubaki, and Iori so I was very happy for my re roll and I didn't want to waste more time. I should of spent more time re rolling for Shun also. Karen and Haruna would of been my optional. (since Haruna is farmable at 8-3 hard)
Haha. Still lucky for you to have rolled Tsubaki. I also didn't have Tsubaki on my first account then when I'm able to unlock the pvp at lvl 32, i became aware of her OPness that i tried to pulled for her for 183 times but still no vain. That's why i created a new account ( hays ) where I have her and started over again. Now I'm lvl 33 and Tsubaki's hella cute ngl
I struggle on commission drops, that damn thing is needed to level up the units and ate a lot of stam w.out the bonus...
i failed to addicted again to this game, i already find my comfort mobile game. but maybe i will regret it again in the future, just like when i left Dragalia Lost and Guardian Tales
For me, since it feels like priconne I just don't play it. Because I will be addicted to it for a month or two, climb rank until top 1 then left because I feel bored lol.
Its because of hina, that i lost so much gems. But now i managed to control myself
My greatest mistake was I played too early in day 1 and didnt reroll the perfect team. I got in a bracket full of whales/competitive players so the top 1000 in my pvp bracket are already lvl 45-55 right now :D
Shun is a Meta in PVP cuz of her Battery Skill and she Hits so Hard to Medium Enemies (Basically your Team) specially the Backline DPS. So everyone is Rerolling for her to get Higher in PVP!
Agree, my Shun is lvl. 44 and has T3 equipments looking forward for t4 lol

Made the same mistakes with the bounty farming as well.. luckily i checked the drop, sweeping and not checking really hurt
Love the vid and that you are still playing BA. You are totally right about stamina, definitely use your gemmies to buy the 30's and the 60's until you beat chapter 12, that is where you can upgrade cafe and you want to do that as soon as possible for more stamina output. I've literally only pulled 4 10 pulls (shun, karina, haruna, tsubaki, shiroko) and I finished chapter 12 a few days ago and 3 starred hard mode to pull more haruna, but I wish I would have done it earlier for more stamina. You can push just with leveling your characters. Yes, nonomi carries through last chapters. No need to 3 star all levels, just ones you will farm higher gear from, yes t4 bag for tsubaki is H-U-G-E. I have about 34kgemmies right now, but no Iori or hibiki, the lack of pulling is really making me struggle in pvp seeing most people in top 200 with 4 and 5 star characters, but sometimes I get lucky, 48 has been my best placement from day 1 account. I have Hibiki and Iori but no other 3 stars, still considered as trash account tho. I don't really know how PvP works in this game. Maybe I get used to Priconne PvP which is simply rock papper scissor game and you can easily turn table or make a come back from trash to best but I guess BA was far from that. Sometimes I have opponent with exact composition and level yet I still failed tremendously. So yeah.. It's so sad but PvP in BA isn't for me.
@@definitelyhuman4510 yeah pvp is very luck based here, tbh, it's only worth climbing at beginning of new account or when they reset placements, because you can earn a lot of one time award gems, but without being p2w it's hard to stay in top rankings. My recommendations would be when starting a new account, using all refreshes until chapter 6 and push to number 1 ranking before whales catch up, earn one time rewards in pvp and then chill and push pve, I didn't do that but I wish I did, still having fun though, cheers!
i suffered for 18+ days without tsubaki, now the current event has her shards, im breezing through pvp and will probably 3 star all level from 12-1 to 12-5 normal and 12-1 to 12-3 hard xd
For someone who said they made mistakes you are leagues ahead of me, I hover between 2000-4000 in pvp and you have way higher skills and equips than I do not to mention your cafe. You seem to be doing really good.
For a long time I was just sweeping stages Willy nilly as I always feel kind of lost in this game since it demands so many units be invested in. I much prefer Revived Witch where I can choose who I want to focus on but something about Blue Archive keeps me playing… probably Aru who I still haven’t managed to pull.
If you like Kayoko (I do) she works within 2/3 PVP maps as an anti-Shun measure and generally useful unit.

I too assumed the EX mat stages only dropped the tier listed, and have been burning attempts on Overpass B. Feels bad man.
honestly not having shun is not that detrimental just because beyond the first rank up rewards your daily PvP income is barely noticeable. Shun is literally useless outside of PvP for like all content even when it comes to raids. People overvalue her too much. Sinking all the resources you used on Shun just to specialize in PvP is the dumbest thing you can do and I'm speaking as a person that played on JP day 1 and still playing till this day. Yes she is good for PvP but you literally won't use her anywhere else. When you face higher rank mirror matches with 2 shuns the RNG can still always screw you over so that's you rerolling for a hyper specific area of the game and even then it's arguably not even worth it in the end.
aru is better than shun when it comes to dmg in fact she has the highest attack in the game

I can get top 50 on pvp without shun. just using tsubaki, iori, haruna and nonomi and also some power of RNG god
Shotgun units are more heavy investment only if you T4 there gears that they're gonna work

I have less than half of your units, yet i’m upgrading what i can to keep them at the max level, and even without Shun i managed to get a peak of 430 in arena, which is not a lot yet idc about arena too much. Haruna for me has been the mvp for many stages, even more than Hibiki in many cases to snipe that single persistent enemy or bosses, while Shun is mostly useful only in PvP and raids of her types. Also tierlists in this game are kinda pepega, people put Asuna in D tier when she just need stars to become good, as well as Eimi in B tier and Tsubaki in S tier, while Eimi is more tanky than Tsubaki in most cases, except arena where types matter and we have few Mystical attackers (here again, Haruna is a must have in arena for Tsubakis)
Also, rush to 12-5, even without stars, my mistake has been resting on 7-5 which was the last stage i managed to 3 star, while the cafe at rank 4 can produce 350 daily stamina which is a reroll worth of stamina more, so produce furniture and gifts always!
Also, don’t auto, this game’s auto is trash, keep your manual moves and learn to use them properly! That is needed to rush especially.
There is headpatting, but maybe it's not in all L2Ds?

I took Hasumi from 2 stars to 3 for waifu, and Tsubaki from 2 to 3 for meta.

Also, I can't believe I didn't even give this game a 2nd look back then because of *auto*/chibi instead of normal size.
Now I think it's a prime example of the 'perfect' gacha game. Sweep grinding stages (No mundane grinding), with the fun events like raid/assault requiring actual skill and strategy.
Cute waifus, great animations, awesome lore.
Casual but competitive, simple but deep and doesn't require hours every day of repetitive grinding for the sake of grinding.
Blue Archives' rewards are great.
does anyone else has problems with bluestacks suddenly closing blue archive, sometimes when a battle is starting?
I got into top 100-200 rankings when I'm just level 30 by luck and beating others up to about 5 levels above me so I had a lot of 10x draws I could do but now I'm regretting it because I used it all up even though I should have saved up to get the waifus I really wanted
Sumire isn't bad! She just needs a bag upgrade before she can start tanking well
Yeah I quit JP for 2 months but playing EN has made me pick it up again... my JP account lucksacking was insane but I'll be maining EN and my luck is awful after rerolling
Haruna is better than Shun. I personally wouldn't care about PVP because the rewards for maintaining tiering are not as good as in Priconne. I have Shun and no Haruna and I hover in the 500-1000 PVP rank range just like you...
Chapter 7 is a big difficulty spike, don't get discouraged and once you clear it you should be set to reach chapter 10 and dumping weeks of stamina on T4 gear

Your problem is you are falling into the pvp trap for this game specifically. Majority of your gem income will be coming from PvE content and raids tbh aiming for shun is just a trap your team is fine and actually stupid good. Its literally recommended you aim for a pve team not a pvp team when you start this game.
Even after playing JP all this time, I still want to bang my head against the wall in PVP. Just trauma everyday for the sake of keeping myself in top 10 lmao.

I did get my first tsubaki only after first reset, before that I spend 120+ rolls and only after reset and like 50 rolls I got her. This game banner rolls are rigged.
