thanks for sharing this video. there's only this video showcasing the shaded koa version of this GS mini, unless they're useless marketing videos. I owned the regular koa version and sold it to a friend. It was the worst mistake I've made as far as my guitars go lol. I recently bought this guitar and it'll be arriving soon. Im excited to play this baby again because like you said, it just feels better to play and its the right size, especially if you're a female or a smaller guy like myself; however, I've seen guys that look like football players pick up a GS mini and are immediately in love. IMO its the best guitar out there for people who want a well-built, great-sounding guitar but also do not plan on being a "serious" musician....but even then, famous artists use the GS mini and it's electronic system is wonderful so even if you're making millions off your music, it's still the perfect guitar. Ive played for over 30 yrs and a regular sized acoustic just isn't fun for me to play anymore. I'd rather just pick this thing up and play. It's perfect.
It really is a great guitar like I was very surprised too actually. I actually ordered this without trying it in person, I just watched some youtube videos and then made the decision. But it really did not disappoint.
You just did the kind of unboxing review I always want and never get - it's so great to hear an acoustic guitar just played without a mic. Great to see how they glue the tops as a warning to other buyers. One question, you didn't seem to have any trouble playing this narrower fretboard right out of the box, right? Thanks so much for this video and I wish you the most fun playing this small but big sounding guitar.
Im glad this helped :) i did not have problems with the smaller fretboard since my hands are small, this is actually easier for me compared to my grand auditorium
@@ericachan1.0 Thanks. I play all the ukes as well so I don't think it would bother. I'm also looking at the Martin Little Guitars and the Djr. Sad to say, but my old hands maybe can't handle guitars anymore. I wish there was someplace nearby where I could try these out. It's hard to beat the playability of the ukulele. I wonder too if I need that super fancy case - maybe the other koa is more my speed. Can't decide in Vermont after a snowstorm lol!
i'm sorry for commenting a lot hehe but do you really can record a video review of the aero case and compare it with the old bag, please? when can you do this? i have only one day to decide between a hardshell case or this aero case. thano so much!!!!
Hi yes. There is a bit more padding on the aero case compared to the structured gig bag. You can also choose to hide the straps inside the case when you dont need them. I can make a video about it ! :)
I’m about to purchase this exact same GS Mini. How do you still like it after all these months? is it a keeper or would you have rather go a different model
Hi! I have yet to try it out for a longer run. However from a practical stand point. Hard cases are extremely heavy and not transport friendly. This aero case is light and provides protection that is similar to the hard case. However it is not water friendly. Thats my take so far.
@@ericachan1.0 thanks, erica :) in your opinion this aerocase is more like The taylor bag or a harshell case? And comparing with The bag, can you give your thoughts? Thank you!
@@ericachan1.0 yes, her first Taylor! I bought her a used Ibanez 5 yrs ago. She loves how much better GS Mini sounds and how easy it is for her to play. It fits her better. She teaches third grade and takes her guitar to school to teach the children cute songs about English to help them learn. I love her so much!
Beautiful guitar. Best of luck with it! I love my GS Mini (Mahogany).
It's so beautiful 😮😮❤
Expensive and pretty ❤️
We love it
