I relate to Klein in that I don’t have a lot of interests in music specifically but I really, really like Weezer (and other bands that sound like Weezer)
he got his own story slightly wrong its been documented that he suggested the "weezer" name on the day they got the dogstar gig at rajis meaning that his previous calls would not have had the word "weezer" at all

Lmao. In 2004 when blue deluxe came out, Karl was like "yep, this is pretty much all that we could find. And we did the dusty gems", and the record company is able to squeeze more out of a band 3 years later. I can't wait for the 35th anniversary release. Hopefully they can remaster sg peppers for the 5th time, too. Trust me. I want the blue extras. Gual rehearsals, the entire Cole Sessions.
I wish "No One Else" wasn't one of my favorite Weezer songs... Because I saw them last summer at a local club for $40 and played just about everything else... Now I cant buy decent Madison Square Garden or TD Garden Presale Tickets for less than $300 to hear it. 🤷♂
@@TheSickNeeds yeah dude I honestly wish Weezer concerts had more discography diversity and representation of all the periods of their career. As it is their usual concerts feel like it's most of Blue, a few Pinoerton tracks, 2000s greatest hits and maybe 2 full songs from the last decade. I'm sure it's nice for Blue elitists and surface level fans, but it's sad for the people who love all their stuff knowing so much great material will always be neglected live

Don’t meet your rock heroes is true.. I met Rivers once and he didn’t say a word to me and just kept walking but he did sign my LP jacket which I appreciated..it was kinda upsetting though. It was a concert they played following a baseball game in Florida. Pat was amazingly sweet and threw out the first pitch.❤
