Healthy Keto: No flour/grains, No sugar/sugar substitutes except Stevia, No seed oils [healthy oils: butter, lard, tallow, olive oil]. Eat lots of meat [not processed/lunchmeats! ] preferable grassfed, organic;, eggs, fruits and veggies--again, preferably organic. Nothing in a package with more than two ingredients. I do eat dairy--cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese. Life changing! This 65 yr old feels 20 years younger than I did!

Just wanted to ask for prayers for Ruidoso New Mexico. I am sure our home that I raised my children in is gone.

Been doing "dirty" keto since February 2023. Lost 30lbs. I work out mostly my entire life since age 18. I'm the weight, now, I was at graduating from Army BCT in 1976, age 66 now.

When I went on HEALTHY Keto last summer, my sciatica and arthritis disappeared! I couldn't sit in a car for without horrible sciatica pain, 2-3 weeks after starting Healthy Keto, I made a 3 hour car ride w/o stopping. No pain pills/patches . . . Flour/grains and sugar/artificial sugars are killing us.

I’ve been on a sort of modified carnivore diet for about 2 months. I’ve lost 10 lbs without even trying. I do still like potatoes and other stuff not all that good for me. But, I do feel the difference. Mainly no wear near as fatigued as I use to feel. I started this because of you Steve. Thank you!

The carnivore diet works, I am 63, and after a year I am down to my high school weight. I was 209, I am now 143. I haven't been this light since I was 30. I also take vitamins and minerals. For my small bone build and height of 5'8" 209 was way to heavy. I am 1 1/2" shorter than I was when I was 30, I'm not sure if I can fix that.

@alleyratAnderson; I've been using a inversion table and it has been a great investment. I'm 62 and have crushed 4 lumbar vertebrae, had 3 disc surgeries, 2 after taking a fall and reinjuring my back and shoulder. I have gained back some of my height and improved my posture, I am now doing 12-14 pullups 2-4 times a day, I'm 6'3" and 165#. Good luck! While doing the pullups I do crunches to keep up core strength, pull knees up to chest level while doing pullups!

@@papabones-p8o Thanks, I'll look in to inversion tables.

My husband and I started Keto, but actually more like Carnivore in January. I really thought I would have trouble cutting out carbs and sugars, but I swear after one day of eating this way, I woke up and felt like a new person. We were travelling right after starting and I'd get offered carbs and sweets, but I did not want them. It wasn't any thought process of needing to stay away, I genuinely did not want them and turned them down. We've each lost a bunch of weight I could never get off of myself, but our weight dropped very quickly. Well, I've been sick the past couple of weeks and lots of stress so we've let it slide a bit, not horribly, but my pain is back and I've just felt awful. So today, before even watching this I made sure to stick to only meat and already in the last hour or so I've noticed my joint pain going down and my energy going back up. Final bit here is when I worked I was a clinical researcher so before Keto/Carnivore (yes there's a difference) I decided to do some research as I kept hearing that people who moved here from foreign countries and eat the same basic foods complained of weight gain and not feeling well. When they moved back, they ate the same type of foods and lost the weight and felt better. My advice, throw away the food pyramid because it is truly garbage and not good for us. Try Keto or Carnivore (talk to your own doctor) & see how you feel.

My daughter and her family were doing the carnivore diet and, at first, it really seemed to help her. She was really loving it. But, then after about a year or so, she started getting very sick and couldn't figure out why. But, it seemed to happen every time she would eat. So, her doctor ordered a full panel and even did all the allergy tests they run. Come to find out, she tested positive for something called the Alpha-Gal Syndrome. Strange name, I know..... Anyway, this is brought on by a tick bite that makes you have a severe allergy to meat. She lives in the country and comes into contact with ticks, at times. So, unfortunately, she can no longer be on the carnivore diet. But, she still swears by it and, she still has her family on it. So, there must be some really great benefits....unless you would come down with something like she did, unfortunately.

Started Keto in March I'm down about 35 pounds and my knees are thanking me. Folks should do some research on Keto/Carnivore so they know what to expect. Lots of good resources on CZcams, I think Steve has mentioned some of them in previous videos.

Eating right is mostly understanding plus changing your mindset. I do have quinoa, rice and some other "carbs" stored that I don't eat a lot normally. My unfitness is mostly connected to stress, which will be resolved soon, and a lack of getting outside and moving. I have an extra freezer and do have it filled with mostly meat (some in-season local fruit too) and plenty of canning supplies to pressure can if we have an extended grid down, including propane and burner so I don't have to do emergency pressure canning over a fire ( would like to learn that but not under duress)

Yes That is True about the Carnivore diet, I am on CArn/Keto But it is carnivore Mostly, and marbled carnvore. My back pain and my overall joint pain, headache's and anxiety/inflammation is nearly completey depleted on the full Carnivore Diet. The Fat burns the fat on the Carnivore. I have cheated on the diet but i felt the same about feeling sick after words, even after eating pasta.

Hi, Steve. I've been MIA for a bit due to unexpected issues. We need another vehicle, dang it. Long story, not wanting to get back into any debt, but prob cannot be helped. So, I've been preoccupied over the past few days. I feel younger than I am and I hope I don't act old! We do have to work smarter, not harder, but everyone should be trying to do that, no matter their age. My husband has upgraded his kidney disease from Stage 3 to Stage 2 and he's been nowhere near as strict as I have. Sleep is my worst issue, but I think it's due to not actually needing as much sleep as I used to need-that was a revelation to me, to be honest. Five hours is a good night these days. Got a prime rib roast in the big crock pot today. My freezer is fully stocked with beef again. I've recovered from broken bones twice in the last 13 years, lots of metal in my left leg in two places, but I still am pretty bouncy for an old mare, I think. I never really stray far from the way I've chosen to eat over the past five or six years. I ate a few handfuls of blueberries off the bush because they were fat and juicy and I saw water retention in my fingers yesterday so I backed off. I have not had a cookie in years and I used to make spectacular cookies, a great Lemon Lover's Pound Cake, but no more. I found that for me, it's not worth the blowback. ~C

So true about the blowback, Cynthia, and great news about your husband! Sorry about the vehicle, but life happens, doesn't it? That's why we prepare. Good luck with the solution!

We found another SUV today and it's in the driveway. So problem solved! The other is gone to auction, no ticking time bomb on that one anymore. Didn't want to have any payment, but we had some cash and a trade-in plus perfect credit so it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. Good dealer, no extra fees and a lifetime engine/trans warranty comes with any car they sell, even used ones.
