"I Remember Clifford" Emmet Cohen - Piano Ruben Fox - Tenor Sax Russell Hall - Bass Kyle Poole - Drums Video Design: Alex Weitz abw-productions.com Sound: Kelvin Grant tfsoundworks@gmail.com
This is one of my favorite jazz ballads ever since I've heard Lee Morgan play it, Freddie Hubbard and more recently Roy Hargrove's version, but this is now my favorite, Ruben you played the hell out of it, what a compassionate beautiful rendition, magnificent piano playing, drummer and bass player. What a treat, I've played this on Tenor sax and flugelhorn but nothing like this, this was really tasty, God bless you all and thank you for sharing, John Stefan
Man, this is so nice! It's exactly the kind of smooth and soothing but still interesting and attention grabbing I needed rn. I'm going to be listening to this on loop for hours. Thank you guys for another banger!
This song always makes me, a grown man, cry like a baby. I cannot imagine a piece of art more beautiful than this benny Golson masterpiece.

Yeah! Ruben has a fine tone. Thought I heard a little bit of Lester Young in there. The band sounds great as usual. Amazing talent on display here!!!
Any idea what sax an mouthpiece he’s using?
Sorry, couldn't say. ...I'm a bassist. But I think I can recognize great tone when I hear it. ...CHEERS!!
@@Tom06its a Lawton mouthpiece with a Martin Committee III
That tone is a time machine
I love this song. I play it as a piano solo and it is such an interesting piece. So many great harmonics. Beautifully done here.
One of my favourite tunes, with so many great recordings and arrangements, but I dare to say this is amongst the best.
יפה מאוד! תודה חברים 👍

A favorite of mine
such a restrained yet expressive player!
1:40 is so good
Lovely
love to know what Lawton Ruben is playing on his Conn. Opening and chamber. Beautiful old school sound!
i don’t think he’s on a conn.
i think that’s a Martin with a Lawton mouthpiece.
Great tone 🎷
The tone seduced me what the hell
Sounds great. What hardness is that popsicle stick reed?
Any Sax player , after attempting this “ tune” can appreciate The Master , Stan G’s untouchable rendition ….
