- Yes, It wasn't an easy job to release this cute bear from its cave. Now Imagine how much time, determination and effort it takes to make just one candle. From choosing a soy wax, and fragrances, then melting wax and poring it into a mold, let it cool down.⏰ When it is ready - take it out of the mold ( 🤪), then decorate it. Wait how did u hold the wick to have the metal base flat in wax 😂
In this case I inserted the metal base after the candle was ready: the candle had a little dip on the bottom which gave me a chance to insert the metal holder and pour a little bit of wax into it.
What wick did you use for this?
Hi, I use 3mm cotton wick, got it on amazon, I do pre-coat my wicks with wax before placing them in.
Hi! Did you put a hole in the bear mold for the wick?
Hi, yes I made a hole in the mold for the wick.
Bonjour, merci pour vos vidéos
Svp pourriez-vous m’aider
Lorsque vous coulez dans un moule profond comment faire pour ne pas avoir un creux
J’ai acheté un moule a bulle et lors du refroidissement il se forme un creux merci
Hi, Thank you for your question. Appearance of dipping/hole depends on what kind of wax you are using. Pure soy wax, from my experience, often gives a dipping after cooling (for many reasons). To avoid it I use mix of soy wax and paraffin - 70/30% (sometimes more - depends on the candle's shape). Most of times the mixing helps. But, when dipping is formed anyways, - just add more wax and level it, adding the metal round wick holder to the wick during the final leveling. Hope it helps :)
