About a year ago I lost my dearest coworker to a aneurysm right when she was at work and they had the same diagnosis but she also had a stroke I believe that she would've made it if they wouldve kept her on life support just a little longer, but I am not family to her and didn't have that right to make that decision I miss her dearly. I actually had a patient of mine who had one too and was just walking and talking just fine afterwards but I guess everyone is different

This video and Casey Brown's testomony have given me hope. I'm crossing a difficult moments, i cant sleep, not smile, I have been thinking and wondering if things will be fine for me.I am heart is broken and i am lost. I am 29 and my mum just got 50. She was in good health had a ruptured brain aneurysm in february 2020,(3 months now). She spent 3 weeks in coma and she is now in the post-resuscitation for anatomy track. She has not yet start the therapy. She can sit on the wheel chair, her legs are weaks to stand and hands are still shaking to do movement. I dont know if she recognises me as her daughter when i talk to her because she does not understand most of the things, her reactions are differents sometimes. she can smile, Her voice cannot come out because of the medical tube she is still caring. I dont know if my mother will get recovery, her conscience, can walk, at least, will be able to talk, laugh, chat with me. I dont God for the miracle he has done to bring her alive. I continue to pray and your words and prayers will give me more hope and strength.

It's really sad that sometimes you need to fight your doctor to get the help you need. I wonder how many people die because of a doctors ineptitude and lack of thoroughness.

I had to. It took one year and 14 doctors (yes, 14) to get an accurate diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis for debilitating symptoms I was experiencing several years ago (weight loss, joint pain all over my body). They were stuck chasing GI symptoms, and several told me I had "GI symptoms made worse by stress and worry." It was absolutely ridiculous. When I was finally diagnosed with the correct condition and properly treated, the doctor that got it said "I can't believe so many people missed this. It's right there on your chart, if they saw obvious signs." All it took was a PROPER blood test and an MRI to confirm. I'd had a billion blood tests already, but none for what I really needed. But I discovered when doctors go down a rabbit hole, they get tunnel vision. And they DON'T like to be told by patients that they're wrong. And then they default to "You're worrying and stressing too much, which makes your symptoms worse..."
Moral of the story is, if you know something is wrong, push back and don't stop. Always ask for a second opinion. Trust your gut even when they try to shut you down.

had an aneyrusm when i was 21, i am 22 now. Doctors said i was born with it.
When the rupture happend i was home alone and I had no simptoms at all the whole day, not even a headache untill it ruprured. I was getting really confused and when i tried to call 911 i realized that i couldn't even remember their number so i panicked. The headache was getting worse and worse very fast. I manged to unlock the door of my flat and started screaming for help... I was running up and down the hallfway for maybe a minute when my right side of body just stopped working, i was paralyzed and unable to move and i was slowly falling unconsions. I was lucky that one woman was just coming from the shop and she heard me crying for help, the last i remmember was her asking me what's wrong before i fell into unconsciousness. What suprises me is that all of this happened so fast! In only few minutes and i already had a low chance of surviving. When they saw me they said that there is like 5% for surviving, and when they saw that i will survive they said that there is a big chance that i will never be phisically or mentally the same. I was 4 days in coma and 3 months in recovery. Yesterday was exactly a year that this accident happend and today i feel amazing! I never felt more vital and alive than now. I find this aneurysm to be a blessing because it made me cherish what I already have and that made my life better! 💖

The exact same thing happened to my Mummy. She got up at 05h30 on Monday 03/06/24 to go to toilet and when getting back into bed she said she felt dizzy and closed her eyes ... my husband, brother and Daddy took her to the hospital after waiting 2 hours for an ambulance but she had already had an aneurysm and by 4pm that day she had another one ... on Wednesday 05/06/24 she succumbed and passed away exactly a month before her 74th birthday! State hospitals in South Africa don't give the aged the high end care they deserve ... I miss her dearly!

I had a ruptured brain aneurysm in September and didn’t have the typical “worse headache of my life.” Instead I had an incredibly stiff and painful neck and then felt like something struck the top of my head and traveled down my spine. I thought maybe I had ruptured a disk in my neck. Just want to throw this out there so that if you feel something is wrong, just go to the ER like I did. Fortunately I recovered 💯.

2 years ago my girlfriend experienced subarachnoid hemorrhage. She collapsed after 2 days of headache. She survived. Doctors could not find aneurism with CT (contrast added). After 2 days, one doctor suggests to move it to the hospital for Digital subtraction angiography and perhaps embolization.
The doctor scans her brain by special machine (only 3 hospital in my country Greece can perform that scan). He told us that he did not find an aneurism and was 99% sure that there was no aneurism in her brain. He allegedly aneurism gone or a small blood vessel ruptured
We returned to our hospital and continued treatment. After one month we took it to a special clinic for speech therapy (she lost complete speech but no other problems), the doctors continued CT scan periodically because they afraid sideaffect like Hydrocephalus. After 4 CT scans (2 with contrast) and 2 months, they claimed they found aneurism. They send us back to the specialist doctor for embolization. After 1 hour he told us that it was not possible to empolize it because her artery is like "S" and nothing can be done because he could not send the stent. After that we speak to a doctor who performs a simple CT scan with no contrast. He told us that 1% per year is the possibility for rupture. No more ct scans no periodically check etc.
2 years after she has periodically headaches, she speaks again (but little bit slow), but headaches conrinues. 3-4 days in month

Before you get anymore head knowledge Steve I think you need to think seriously about getting a heart!! Goodbye and all the best. You havent proved anything to me at all Steve you have only reiterated all your own beliefs to yourself and no doubt you think the same about me..that is ok no worries lets just call it a day. No hard feelings I do wish you all the best no matter what you choose to do with your life. Take care I'm signing off now. Thanks for conversing in a generally respectful manner.

My father had gone through aneurysm coiling and then shunt procedure for hydrocephalus .
His cognition has improved after VP shunt but still his tongue movement is very less and jaw movement very restricted .
He is on peg pipe feed still after 10 months for all his diet requirements and unable to chew ,swallow . Will any good effective treatment for dysphagia help relieve patient condition. Patient does not bring out the tongue properly in speech therapist sessions . Any good tips will be highly appreciated to bring patient recovery out of this critical juncture after aneurysm rupture from the experiences so far. Thanx .

I have lost my mother, sister and brothers to aneurysm bleeds at the hands of misdiagnosis of a bleed. My sister died at 28 yrs of age of ruptured aortic aneurysm even though my mother had already died of an aneurysm bleed and my sister was told to go home. I had my first aneurysm bleed in the brain in 2006 I insisted they do a cat scan with dye contrast!! They found my aneurysm I now have 4 brain aneurysms and an aortic aneurysm which is clearly genetic, the disease is called Marfan's syndrome

My aunt passed away hours ago due to subarachnoid hemorrhage, possibly caused by a ruptured brain aneurysm.
Days before she was declared brain dead, she complained of having an intense headache, and she experienced a stiff neck and nausea. Minutes after, she collapsed, and everything happened so fast.
MRI scans revealed a ruptured blood vessel in the brain. The first operation, which involved relieving the intracranial pressure, was only carried out nine hours after the collapse, and she went into a coma. However, her brain kept bleeding, and surgical clipping had not been performed.
The following day, subsequent MRI scans confirmed that her brain was dead. It was at that time we lost all hope. Moments before the rupture, she was still a healthy person, and she did not even have the time to say goodbye to her loved ones.

in india..we didnt know what aneurysm is..new term ..v rare....lost my mom...she was perfectly normal 3 days before her death...it was so quick!she was 52....I have no idea what she felt..how she was..because she went on Coma....i got rid of her medical reports without viewing because i was so frustrated and was in deep shock....she got one rupture and then she was still ok..i didnt talk to herthough she was awake..and then the next happened within 24 hrs and that one was the end Unfortunately in India back in 2015 ..there are not v many hospitals who have doctors specialized in this and she was stuck ina remote place....So bad luck all came at one time!!

Very very very blessed with the FATHER showing me all the things and the knowledge and wisdom of how to heal everyone while spreading FATHERS living WORD and getting that HOLY SPIRIT active that dwells with in you. If I go into the medical side of it it’s so simple but so complex and is why everyone on planet gets sick mentally or physically would you like my number I would walk you through it. I’ll say this to start it off it’s first loss of innocence called stress inflammation of brain they call disorder later which is actually lighting up that pituitary gland the master gland of the body then throws off everything over the flesh so if ears turn red or red neck or red chest or all of em blood pressure/inflammation that’s what the red is. I’ll stop there for now unless your prepared then I can give you my number family :)

Wow! It sounds like your gene pool had a random peace of bad luck somewhere in the past. The universe is a cruel random place sometimes. Then again that makes perfect sense since a designer was NOT involved. NO reasonable designer would make such an error. IF he/she did make an error then he/she would NOT be perfect.
