just started watching but yes adding a pinch of salt to sweet things actually brings out the flavors nicely (aka adding a bit of salt when making cakes, chocolate or caramel brings out the flavor much more)
also, as someone else said in the comments, cupcakes are muffins, just sweeter 😅

@ChloeMayReacts in my language they mean the same thing so I unconsciously think of them as "naked round small cake" and "small cake with frosting"
I'm sure opinions might differ depending on person and culture 🤷‍♀️

@@ChloeMayReacts , to me cupcakes are made with cake batter, but muffins are more dense. Even sweet muffins like banana nut or blueberry have a texture like a lot of sweetbreads; like pumpkin bread. There are exceptions like carrot cake which is considered a cake batter but it has the texture of a muffin baked in a cake pan.
