Based on Costco prices they tossed ~$130 of Capri sun in there to make those two pints of heart cut. That's a pricey mixer :)
Do note, I'm pretty sure that most of the Capri Sun didn't even make it into the actual distil process.
The chaotic goblin energy of Rex & Brianna is on point as always 🤣
It’s called *having no filter*
We could all take a lesson 🤪😂😂
Gimp energy for days.
If they are not always like this I'd be very disappointed
Well put. Mwahahahaaaa!!!
I'm somewhat out of the loop and don't know Briana's backstory. Are she and Rex related?
I think we can all agree; we love these idiots. They're like the meme of the two wolves that are laughing and Daniel is the stoic one in the middle.
I cannot think of a more accurate description of the trio
You mean the Hyena's from the Lion King?
@@lokithecat7225 Sounds about right
These two are chaos incarnate, and I love every second of it.
I also think of the "inside of you there are two wolves" meme lol
"I'll get the bucket," is the only thing you really can say when Rex and Briana are left to their own antics.
8:06
“It’s mop time” lol
Or, cleanup aisle 1, lmao
I'm fairly sure that these episodes are made to keep Rex & Brianna entertained, so Daniel can actually get real work done.
I originally subscribed because I enjoyed the expertise and dignity of your channel.
Things have… changed.
This is so much more fun.
When are you going to distill BBQ pork rinds?
This... was freakin' hilarious, especially the ending.
The ending was beautiful
Didn’t think we were going to get golden showers this early in the morning

its a gift you never expect but always appreciate
A significant portion of the olfactory notes in artificially flavored liquids is likely from volatile organic compounds present in the various flavoring mixtures. These are commonly low molecular weight alcohols and esters, especially for fruit flavors, which is why, like ethanol, they distill over. Some may even form azeotropes with water. The gustatory portions are sugars and other molecules with relatively high mass or many opportunities to hydrogen bond, which makes them far less volatile, so they remain in the distilling container.
Bro what?
@@tommytwotones128 TL;DR Fruity smells boil faster than fruity flavors. That's why the distilled Capri Sun smelled strong but tasted comparatively bland.
@@jordanfranks8 thanks
I wonder if they would stick around after it ages a bit in that case.
Capri sun isn't a super strong flavor anyway just sweet
Have you considered doing the same experiment but with straight corn syrup? It would be interesting to see how much flavor is imparted by the actual grain itself vs. the refined sugar component in a new make.
Me and my bro used to drink that stuff like juice
Corn syrup, used instead of sugar in a fermentation does give a little corn flavor, but not quite as much as the corn sugar does. Best to use a rum type yeast that holds up to molasses, honey and corn syrups.
@@akimbofurry2179do you have a heart disease now?

Whiskey to me has a connotation of “seriousness,” and seeing these videos is such a fun twist!
When I was younger I found a box of capri suns in the bottom corner of a cabinet in the garage. Completely covered in dust but as a kid that was the holy grail. A whole brand new box of capri suns that no one knows about. Turns out it had fermented and I wasn’t as happy as I was when I found the box
This episode went off the rails instantly. More of this.
I'm not sure this episode even had rails to begin with.
Does Daniel always carry measuring spoons in his pockets? What else is in them? One on my favorite episodes and honestly the funniest one. Keep up the great work!
This episode was so wrong on so many levels... I laughed my ass off. please never change !
Fun Fact!: some artificial flavorings and scents are already distilled, so they remain strongly in a fermented project.
Loved the ending. That's how you know you're best friends. 🤣
Did I just eat a bag of shrooms? The random nature of this episode.🤣
shr000m
Beverage makers add scents to drinks all the time. Red Bull is a great example. The smell is different from the taste. In order to be smellable, a molecule has to be pretty small and reactive, because it has to be able to evaporate into the air, reach your nose past all the filters and whatnot, then react there with your finicky nose sensors. So in distilling the raw Capri Sun, the scents carry over with the water because they evaporate easily with the heat before the flavors, which are more stable. So the distilled product retains the smell, the flavors stay in the whatnot, and you get lame water with smells on the other end. There’s the science!
Ah, my Saturday morning comic relief. Love you guys.
*#DISTILL** SURSTRÖMMING*
YES! i wanna see them vomit all over the place 🤣 (actually i dont, but it would be hilarious)
Everything they have will probably have to be replaced with how absolutely terrible it is lol
Oh, that is a terribly good idea.
I am sure this is written in Geneva Convention
Oh God no
Crazy seeing jesse here ... The man is amazing at liquor and teaching folks about alcohol .... ... As jesse says next time chasers
Amen
Seeing this made me think of my favorite sweet drink as a kid. Prickly pear cactus fruit soda. Lived in Arizona, don't think you can find it anymore, at least the brand I loved then. But you should try prickly pear I'm curious bout how that would work.
I loved the end. Revenge... is like a rolling stone, which, when a man hath forced up a hill, will return upon him with a greater violence, and break those bones whose sinews gave it motion. - Jeremy Taylor (I'm glad no one got broken bones tho.)
Whiskey Tribe is such a vibe. It's always a good day when Whiskey Tribe drops a vid.
I have seriously considered moving to Texas for the soul purpose of getting a job and working with these guys. What's stopping me you ask? The realization that everything there is not as much fun as their videos.
I think this episode has solidified this as my favorite channel on you tube. Thank you!
Can we all admit that Rex's wife deserves credit for trust and faith because these two have some goofy @$$ chemistry lol
Definitely chuckled when he pulled out the blue
Freakin HILARIOUS, and an awesome experiment! It's so interesting to see how ingredients and flavors transform when distilled. Great video.
My Saturday can officially start once I get through watching this!
Same. Saturday doesn't start until I have my morning caffeine and WT video.
Over the summer i had some in my Jeep for way too long (like months), and i had one bc i had nothing else at work, and it tasted a bit like wine. I'm super glad y'all did this!
This just makes my day. I´m always looking forward to the next adventure of the Whiskey Tribe
i absolutely love the editing on this video !! i also adore the energy between you two, new sub 💗💗
Absolutely gold!! Great job as always!
I truly never get tired of these guys. I personally think it's the best CZcams channel on the entire platform.
I love it when people actually have fun with thier videos. nice work you guys
That ending made me belly laugh so hard I woke up my dog. Thank you for that
OMG. The ending.......so, so good in soooooo many ways. WELL DONE!
This is great! Start to finish, exceptional episode!
The gold Glencairn. Such a good finish to a great episode
Every oz of the last 3 minutes of that was golden. Please keep up the great work. Don't change for anyone, even if YT wants you too.
Honestly, when I first discovered this channel, I expected Brianna to be a chaotic gremlin, and for Rex to be kind of a mix of grouchy dad and rockstar uncle. Turns out both are chaotic gremlin, and as a gremlin myself, I’m very happy.
This is the best episode yet. I laughed way too hard on this one
Brianna really said, "Disrespect the pouch, I dare you."
My Saturday is complete and I just woke up. Such a great episode. That running scene terrified me though
Something I think would be interesting distilled, Calypso Lemonades. Those lemonades that look like video game potions with some having higher percentages of recommended daily values of sugar than Mountain Dew, a brand of soft-drink that is primarily sugar. I feel like just based on my limited knowledge of how distillation and fermentation works, it should do something; it has sugar and it has water and also fruit juices, so in theory it should turn into booze. I feel like red and blue ones are the closest to default because nobody gets a Calypso for the regular lemonade, but there are a good amount of flavors to choose from. The black cherry one is very bitter and tart, like if you like a very strong black cherry you'll like it. Island Wave legitimately tastes like a scented candle or chapstick, is like this weird purple color, and I kind of like it. My favorite though is probably peach, it's like downing a big spoonful of peach jam.
Oh, the ending of the elaborate revenge! 🤣 I'm dying
The first 3 minutes of this was worth the like… the ending was the icing on the cake
I do enjoy the "does it distill" type of episode.
Brilliant. Videos on this channel just get better and better
Oh man that outro has me LAUGHING hysterically, that's great
Oh bloody hell. I laughed so hard! Great videos.
Lmao I'm so glad this was just randomly in my feed 😂 i love these folks great energy
The bird at the end made the whole thing for me! 🤣
The 360s cams damn near killed me 😂. Well done.
The ending was so awesome. I'm still laughing 😃
I would have liked to have seen you give your friend the distilled version, and seen what he thought. But also.... hilarious as always.
I love the energy you guys bring to this. It’s like watching Louise Belcher making booze.
Lol, how have I not found this channel sooner. You guys are great 🤣
I’ve never seen this channel before, never thought to look this up, but holy shit I’m CRYING the humor is golden
Just found this channel, and while I'm not even a "whiskey" person and have never really had any reason to want to go to Texas, this is suddenly making me look at other stuff in Austin to seei if I can justify a trip to the tasting room.
I'm that weird guy who finds Mallort to be tasty, so I'd probably have a blast there.
Pure unadulterated entertainment and shenanigans! Bravo!
Your videos just keep getting better every time 🙌
this was a great episode guys! laughed my a** off!
Fantastic video and production! First class
This has to be my favorite video you guys have put out
Love the joke of nestling in the beard lol!
I love your videos and all the chaos and experimentation in them. I just wish I could somehow get your whiskey in Australia.
I bloody love this channel!
I'm a grown man and I still drink Capri Sun like it's going out of style. I love those little sweet, fruity pouches on a hot day
That ending was perfection
The salute at the end was hilarious.
I drank a lot of Capri Sun as a kid in my lunches. There were a few instances where the Capri Sun had already fermented on its own, typically tasting like a Sharpie. While I'm sure some people would have felt like they struck gold, for me it was always a massive disappointment as it meant no drink for me.
I was watching another video on my phone, and the thumbnail was so perfect!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 only creepy Patrick's eyes were sticking above the bottom bar 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rex laying in Jesses beard is GOLD 😂🤣🤣
Somewhere, in a detox center far away, there is a wanted poster with your names on it..... GREAT VIDEOS!!!!
😂😂 that bit at the end was hilarious
this is the first video I've ever seen of you guys. immediately subscribed, this had me laughing so many times
That was enjoyable all the way through but the end had me rolling!
10:16
Hands down the best part of the whole video and worth a 10 minute wait!
Ahh.. finally back to a good level of shinanagins ..and you included jesse ..the only thing to make the episode perfect would have been an add for those ball razors..just to keep up the pouch jokes..
The ending got me. Nice one boys!
I LOVE these videos. Please keep it up.
Great vid!! You guys should try distilling Tahiti Treat next
Awesome episode. I like the intro. Is that new? The revenge made me laugh out loud in public. How do I start doing what you guys do at home?
Made my day thank you
Videos keep getting better and better.
😂😂😂
Absolutely loved the ending
Rex and Briana are the perfect embodiment of chaotic good
The beautiful running theme and the 4th act twist of what is called the "uno reverse" plot mechanic.
that middle finger at the end was priceless
Probably my favorite episode, respect the pouch!
The bits are so funny, I love this channel
That ending was hilarious tho 😂
"Get your own fu-ing bucket"
That skit along with the rest of this video is what made me want to subscribe.
That last bit had me rolling.
Distilling/fermenting must bring back the original notes of the reject fruit used to make these juices. Yumm!
Always worth watching till the end
I Frickin love these will it still episodes.
One year in 78 every kid at my school was opening up the apple caprisun and it smelled like beer. This video is funny nostalgia.
