Coverdale made some great tracks with Deep Purple and this is one along with Stormbringer. I wish I could have made it to a show on this farewell tour. He's got some great talented musicians in this current band and amazing to see Tommy Aldridge still going strong. Was only watching him the other day on a video of a live show from 1981 when he was with Ozzy and Randy Rhoads.
Well Reb is good no doubt about it , but Joel has him beat... dude can play anything from Jazz, Classical, Rock you name it he can play it. Hell he even toured with Cher. Not to mention playing with TSO every year. His tapping is incredible and one of the best around. Personally I think Reb played better in his Winger days. Check out some of his studio stuff from many years ago and you'll see.
@@Stargazer-px7fw I think playing Burn with two guitars gives it more of a Metal sound. Deep Purples version was more of a Hard Rock sound. Either way the tune is special!

He had not 1 bad word to say about Ritchie. In fact I think they are in communication but Blackmore doesn't want it known to the public. Cloverdale is retiring from touring, but expect more recordings. I hope he will collaborate with Sykes again!

Visually great footage of Whitesnake from this current tour , in fact it’s the best that I’ve seen Band are playing and looking great but Mr Coverdale sounds drowned out by them in the sound mix , was that possibly to cover up that he no longer can hit the notes or sing as well as he used to ?
Let's give a huge kudos to Tommy Aldridge...guy is 71 and still crushes those drums like young man...he's timeless!!!

Октаву потеряли почти все высоко поющие вокалисты, ещё лет 20 назад. Ещё минус полтона для концерта. Фальцетники и вовсе 30 (т.е. почти сразу).

Used to go to the same church as Tommy Aldridge. I ran sound one Sunday morning with him on drums (with lots of cymbals). Very nice guy.
