I think another point that's missing is, that ast has no consistency in their line up. They had in my eyes one maybe two lineups wich had potential but they just changed them after a couple bad games giving them no time in finding themselves
Absolutely agree.
Especially the most recent one.
Why put that squad together and give them no time?
There were always gonna be problems with the roles, but they knew that before they even put together the roster.
And I don't fully understand why they benched blame to bring in br0. Surely blame could be re-purposed to play more proactively and still be better than br0.
But who knows - let's see what happens with the new roster LOL :D

Clearly something is completely broken behind the scenes at Astralis and they need to fix it if they wanna get back to winning.
I think there's definitely something to be said for role clashes with the current lineup, and blameF's in game leading doesn't look like it really compares well to other IGL's. His fragging however is of course miles better, so if they can somehow get someone to lead this squad (maybe stavn who's already been doing some calling, but just doesn't really seem like a leader type) I think they can do some serious damage (to someone other than themselves for once LOL)

Yeah they are definitely a looong way from what they once were.
It seems pretty clear that there's something completely wrong in the organization itself.

As sad as that is, there is some truth to it. However, Astralis was already in a down period before he left.

From untouchable for 2 years to not winning any big events in a looong time - what would you call it? :D
They went from winning 3 majors in a row to failing to qualify for 3 majors in a row.
They completely changed their roster, so that was kinda expected. They are still a top 20 team in the world, just not unbeateable as they used to be. Definitely far from downfall in my eyes.@@kwispyCS
