- Here's what went wrong ⤵️
When this smile muscle (risorius) is paralyzed, the corner(s) of your mouth won't pull back when you smile
❗️ This makes the smile look small, fake, and forced
Unfortunately, nothing can be done to reverse it🫠
But the smile WILL eventually return to normal
PREVENTION is key 🔑
⚠️Be sure to use an injector familiar with anatomy & experience treating the masseters
📌SAVE this post is you're considering masseter Botox
PS for injectors:
My most superior site (in proximity to the risorius) is always deeper and with less units 🙌🏻

I had it. Was shitty. Couldn't smile properly and I got jowls
I got also almost 1 year and my smile is weird. Do you know how to reverse it?
How deep do we have to go in with the needle to not affect the risorius and the buccinators?
In case this happens. What to do to make you smile back? And is this permanent?
How to fix this. ? Is this permanent bad effect?
Or just don’t get Botox
This is true
Very true
Im pretty sure people get it for migraines and lock jaw too..or you can just try not being judgmental🤦♀️
I get it for TMJ disorder. Be lucky and happy you don't have a jaw that pops and locks and gives you immense headaches
Or let the pros help people who need it
