Stunning! What a sound holistic introduction to Dharma in a very cool voice of peace! Thanks for churning out the very ancient but eternal universal vedic truths in a very simple manner. Actually, this is a very subtle, slippery, tricky, convoluted, hard-to-explain topic. The topic of Dharma is a vast unchartered territory debated over and over across the millennia in the wilderness of a world full of multiple contradictory standpoints and conflicts apparently. But then, the complexity of this topic is well-decoded, greatly simplified and explained in a very rational, clear and lucid manner. High quality content delivered with superb clarity. Authentic and efficient pointers, overall an apt direction for a human being to practically apply day to day, explore and evolve! Thanks again!

    The Key Take-away:
Dharma is interwoven into the very fabric of our individual lives every moment and scales up into the collective life of communities, tribes and societies of scale, at large! Dharma is a very practical thing and it impacts us at every level. By no means, Dharma could ever be ignored or forgotten. No one can afford to dismiss it. No one can escape the immutable subtle law of Dharma even for a moment.
Dharma exists at every specific level/layer of life and living; if that specific Dharma is not cognized and honoured soon, it would perturb peace and welfare at that level for that individual or society at large. But then, if we are too obsessed about a specific dharma at the branch and leaf level but ignore or forget the root dharma, then that would also not help us much in the end, it might not take us very far, might even lead to contra-indications and conflicts. Root dharma means abiding in our essential nature of the true undivided self, abiding in that steady reservoir current of genuine deep peace. Highest Dharma is being peaceful (and viceversa : when you are in that peace, you can grasp Dharma)
Technically, that peace can only happen by staying close (as much as possible) to our core essential nature of awareness of our true undivided self.
    To elaborate:
Dharma in its Sanskrit meaning is 'something that HOLDS'!
As an individual (for each one of us), the components that hold us in the ‘time dimension’ are
    1. Our ‘Human body’ on this planet earth that we are carry now
    2. Our human body ‘Gender’ that we were born into
    3. Our Present Ashrama -, essentially the "Present phase, station, stage and situation" of our life now (on the continuum of the timeline).
    4. Our ‘predominant’ frame of mind/our mental frequency/our mental proclivities (formed over the time)
(All these 4 holding aspects are prone to change with the everchanging dance of circumstances, new developments, interactions and influences over the passage of time and there is certain dharma associated to each of these levels from time to time. All these levels do impact us).
But above all, AT THE ROOT LEVEL, what holds us in a ‘timeless dimension’ is
    5. Our TRUE essential nature (the true ‘I’, our prestine eternal nature) that is changeless. And here is the ‘Root Level Dharma’, right at this level!
Overall, these 5 levels highlighted are holding each of our individual lives and DHARMA exists specifically at all these different levels. (Dharma is thus explained in the form of levels to make our initial understanding easier so that it serves as a guideline. Main thing is to practice, practice and practice it in our lives as a part of our living itself, we have to practise it, explore it and understand).
Specific Dharma is important, But don't overemphasize the specific Dharma and ignore the foundational Dharma. Hold fast to peace
Dharma is at the root level and also at the branch, twig and leaf levels. If we are stuck or obsessed ONLY ABOUT the specific branch/twig/leaf level dharmas but forget and miss or ignore the overall mainstream/all-encompassing/Root level dharma (root level dharma of abiding in our true essential nature), that leads to fragmentation, confusion, inefficiency, endless contradictions in the name of Dharma and there could be no lasting reconciliation between these contradictions.
This is what exactly happens if we place the leaf, twig and branch level specific Dharmas first before the root level Dharma, this is like putting the cart before the horse!! Then it would become a fragmented approach leading to contradictory sense of righteousness and endless mutual conflicts in the very name of Dharma (leads to contradicting views, contra-indications and snowballing conflicts on the rise within an individual as well as in the society, the collective world at large)!
But if we try to stay close to our root level Dharma first, then all the other ensuing Dharmas at the branch and leaf levels would harmonize, would take care of themselves in a perfectly harmonious effortless manner.
The central message of the take away is try to stay close to the essential nature of your true self as much as possible, practice it as a part of your daily life, to try to abide in the essential nature of your ‘all inclusive undivided true self’. Abide in that fundamental bhagavata consciousness as much as possible.
HIGHEST DHARMA IS BEING PEACEFUL. When we abide in our essential nature of undivided awareness/the root, peace will come automatically. Also when we abide in our root dharma, then what will happen is the appropriate Dharma at a specific level shall also be automatically be revealed to us without any contradiction or confusion, as per the demand of the time, place and circumstance. Would be automatically perceived in the right light!
