Everything he says suggests that he is building the system around the players which is wonderful and a welcome change. 😊
You mean we shouldn't hire Martz back to install a system nobody can operate?
from what I heard he sounds competent enough to know what he's doing. It's just nice to hire someone with experience and success compared to the last few OC's who had no expierence and it showed during games. Was so fed up with these nobodies running offense and the last great OC we hired was Adam Gase who had success and it panned out well for the Bears in 2015.

Why would you try the 2nd time and set up 3rd and long where the defense knows you have to pass.
Predictable play calling is why Getsy failed for the last 2 yrs.
That and not adjusting to defensive adjustments.
Waldron will be different, he took a bad Gino Smith and made him a 4000yd Q B. A feat that's unheard of in Chicago.

He’s for sure an upgrade and he’s probably been getting better and better over the years. He got geno smith to pass for more than 4000 yards and become the comeback player of the year. If he can get him to pass for 4000 it should be a breeze to get this offense to get more than 4000 passing yards this season.

the only reason caleb isn’t renown for getting the ball out quick is because his o-line would constantly collapse and his receivers weren’t all that. he goes through his progressions pretty quickly when his receivers and oline are doing there job

The Bears interviewed 15 guys and Shane had 7 offers before taking Bears offer. This man is so far above anyone we have had in the last 30 years he took Geno from a Scrub to comeback player of the Decade. And Pro Bowler. We are now set to move into the future and if he is hired as a Head Coach Asst Thomas Brown is an upcoming Offensive mind. God's Blessings 🙏

I like Shane,I just hope the Bears actually let this man install in his system and the quarterback marriage his talents into his offense,I just wish Justin had the same opportunities.I understand the business of you can’t have 3 offense coordinators in 4 years in the NFL.I think it will be a different coach next season.

Coach Shane is a coach with a vision focus on building an offense off players attributes, rather thar his system... Yet same philosophies
Smith, for the Seahawks who is not a great QB had 3850+
and 4000 + yds last year on a 9 - 8 team last year.

Luke Getsy had a good Plan A so I will have to watch first quarters of RaiderNation. His problem is not having ability to counter adjust any team that adjusts at second half.

I think Flus has earned himself the rest of his contract. I don’t think they’re guna switch head coaches after Caleb’s first year, the revolving door of coaches hurt Fields progression idt Poles will do that twice. That being said I hope Waldron sticks around even if we’ve had success

??? Did you just fall from space, Caleb is our literal starter no question so what purpose does that question really serve. We didn’t just trade fields and draft him at 1 to play some game of if he’s starter or not. Ryan poles has even made it clear Caleb is starter no question.
