Agree totally. Their harmonies are magnificent. I greatly enjoy the selections they chose, many of which are original, I believe, yet still in keeping with an Irish vibe. I think that is what sets Byrne and Kelly apart. They still embrace their Irish heritage instead of trying to reinvent themselves. It’s contemporary while continuing to be traditional; contradictory, I know, but they make it work well. Their sound, the interweaving of melodies, is so lovely to hear. The band is great as well- - and the violinist is truly a superb musician!
I absolutely love this duo, and hope someday to see them both in concert. They’re so perfect together, to rival Simon and Garfunkel in talent! My hope is that Byrne and Kelly will continue working with each other for many more years together. The group and their music are very much appreciated by fans. Thank you, Byrne and Kelly!
