- Hey friends, I am so fortunate to have the XV-02 Pro Chassis kit from Tamiya on my bench today. What a smooth and amazing build. Hex hardware, various types of plastics and terrific engineering on Tamiya's part made this one a pleasure to put together. No need for all the hop-ups ( So far) as this kit comes with a host of upgraded parts. I had to supply a servo, RX-TX and ESC/Motor. If you can afford it, it is well worth the expense.
Please enjoy this first part of two build videos. Expect running footage soon after!
Like share sub comment and all that good stuff helps the channel grow!
Be well and good out there!
Awesome build so far. I like the oil filled diffs.
Cheers, yes so smooth!
Thumbs up for funny editing 👍
Heh thanks!
Senang menonton video bagus ini
Thank you!
Build is looking good. I was thinking about getting one. just subbed
Well if you like/love tamiya kits, this one is certainly a joy to put together, and then superbe to drive. Thank you!!
Here we go!! Looking forward to this dude! You will love it 🙌🏻
awww yeah!! Thanks!
hey you build faster than Kevin T. Good job!
Haaaa! Yes and with a micro fraction of views lol
Beau montage et beau montage video😂
See you next time 🇫🇷🇨🇦👍
Hey merci bien! Ce kit était super fun a completer, le montage video c'est plutôt divertissement 😂😂
Oh Mauzy a very nice build, surprised to see a plastic star shaft and small bevel gears? Normally these are alloy 😊😊maybe it’s a weight thing? Nice build steps 😊😊best wishes
Cheers! I think the plastics have come a long way. Also with the sensored brushless system the starts are very smooth. Besides that I am not sure why they chose plastics here. Thanks!
I agree, all them fancy blue anodised bits and bearings and they put plastic diff internals on it.
nice build mate, looks a great kit 😊👍
Yes what a pleasure this kit was to assemble. The plastics are all different and HEX screws too! Cheers!
Tres beau montage encore une fois ton speed control prend combien de s
Hey merci! Je crois celui-la peut faire 4s max mais pas avec ce moteur.
Thanks for this original vid. I really liked the stop motions. And now still very looking forward to build a kit like this in the future. What body are you going to use?
Hey thanks so much! I like to have some fun with the hobby and video making. I highly recommend one of these better quality Tamiyas. I Got the Impreza (Hatch back) model as there was not a lot of choice at the time I could get one. Running vid soon! Cheers!
Awesome, @@MauzyrockRC. Thanks for the advice. I am looking forward to the next video!
thank you for your build video. can i ask you servo metal mount parts number?
Hey you are welcome! As for the servo mount, this is the one that came with the kit. I think you can find it on tamiya website?
How about the difference between XV02RS Pro and XV02 Pro
Does 02RS Pro just change tires、shock then equivalent to a 02 Pro?
The RS is an On-road variant of the XV-02. Shorter damper stays, lower ride height. Suited for tarmac. XV-02 pro suited for off road surfaces.
@MauzyrockRC if I mount a set of long dampers to my XV02RS pro then it becomes a XV02 Pro?
@user-pj8hu4op6z Hmm, I think you need to change the towers also. Tires… I would have to see the RS to be sure
How do you like it? Have you played with it?
Well, it is very smooth and the suspension is plush. However, even with the fandangled dust cover, rocks still block up the steering a little. But not a biggie. I am really enjoying it!
