The garden is a treasure of the city. Any season, any weather, a display of color and sound expressly designed to please the eye and calm the mind. One of the best values in town for family fun, or a sublime romantic getaway.
A work of art anyone can enjoy. Please put it on your list and discover your favorite seasons. Dress for the weather.

Thank you for the visit of last spring. I forwarded this link to my son who grew up visiting the garden with great glee. He who now has a two-year-old daughter he wants to bring to the garden. I always enjoy seeing the careful work that you all are doing for the city and the world. Yes, please make more films like this.

I just visited the garden at 3:30pm yesterday! It's a magical place as always but especially beautiful with colors at this time of year. This was my first year hitting the right time to see fall colors, first time in 20 years!!! Then, my friend reminded me of this footage today. I appreciate so much for the work by Uchiyama-san, Nakanishi-san, and all staff and volunteers. Thanks you. ありがとうございます。

Thank you so much for sharing the garden. It was a thoughtful offering to those of us who love the garden and can't wait to visit again. I am watching for the blooming of the irises, a highlight of the year! Interesting how early it is predicted to be in 2020. Gratitude to all of you care taking this special place.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing the Japanese Garden in three seasons. (not winter) The spring is my favorite but all the seasons are all so very beautiful! This is a great garden to meditate or anything than involves peace and tranquillity.

great idea, however you may want to consider working with a skilled videographer to really do the garden justice ... slowing down the camera movement would help tremendously ... as would early morning or evening light that is softer ... or shooting in the rain which brings out a special sensual quality unique to this garden, esp. in the stonework and foliage ... the atmosphere is essential, that is what you are photographing

Thanks for your patience with our amateur skills. Since the Garden closed to the public more than a month ago, we had to temporarily lay off 90% of our staff. It's just a handful of us left trying to maintain the organization while trying to share the Garden's tranquility at this strange time when it seems like people need it most. We know the videos aren't ideal but hope they will carry us all through until we are able to reopen the gates. Wishing you all the best.

Is he wearing grounding socks or shoes? Japanese are so smart. Our bodies are electrical and need to be connected to the earth by wearing no shoes do to the rubber souls disconnecting us from the earth. Its like grounding a car in a way. Remember we are mostly water and like antennas so keep your electronics AWAY FROM YOUR BODY. GOD BLESS
