I originally recorded this song on my "Higher" album. This is one of my all-time favorite arrangements. Arranged by one of my first mentors in barbershop, Fred King! Recorded in beautiful Hawaii, please enjoy my take on one of Fred's masterpieces!

I haven't heard of this song until now, and the feeling that "You are love, you are real" gave me just now is palpable and difficult. Beyond that though, this arrangement has so much depth (the chords for the aforementioned lines are so stirring), and you sang it wonderfully.

Idk if you know but Marcus High School went to the Texas 6A UIL State Marching Contest 2023 and this was their ballad. They got Second in the whole state. Ballad was definitely the best part. It was so phenomenal. ❤️

I’ve always loved this arrangement-I think the simplicity of it makes it much more impactful than many more complicated charts. And the beautiful major 7 chords that are somewhat uncommon in barbershop sound SO good in just intonation. Great work as always, Tim :)

My Dad always loved "Ebb Tide" and played it on the piano. My sister didn't remember, so I looked it up to let her hear it. Your scintillating version popped up! It was incredibly comforting, pristine, and absolute perfection. I'm a violinist and your work is mesmerizing. I'm sure you're up to your elbows in musicians who want to play with you, even though you don't need another soul to create gorgeous art magnificently. I was hoping you'd get in touch so that I could try to let you know how special this performance is to me and how magically it wrapped up my Dad's funeral. Just know that you are highly admired and immensely appreciated. But I'm sure many people have let you know that for years. Just wanted to be able to tell you how precious this piece was to me and thank you from the bottom of my heart. Enjoy making people's lives sweeter!! Gratefully, Pam

I’ve always heard the instrumental version of this song, but never knew there were lyrics to accompany the tune until I discovered Tim Waurick a few weeks ago. Now I have to listen to this song on a daily basis, sometimes more than once per day.

Absolutely love it! I'll never forget the first time I heard this arrangement at my first ever barbershop chorus rehearsal. The musicality of your performance gave me some of the same feelings I had being on the risers that night and hearing these chords come to life so dynamically.

The first time I heard this rendition it gave me chills. The lyrics along with the wonderful singing are beautiful, hauntingly so. In a good way.
Side note: the ability with technology to hear one person singing 4 different parts simultaneously is not a natural thing, but it sounds rad and quite surreal.

For an acapella harmony performance this is stunning. It isn't Bobby Hatfield or John Gary but it has its own special beauty.

Cried harder than I have in a long time, but not tears of sorrow. They were tears of utter appreciation and gratitude for the love I have for my beautiful woman. Listened to this song with my girlfriend seated next to me, her beautiful eyes fixed on the video with a sweet grin. Looking at her at the “I can tell, I can feel, you are love, you are real” part just made me lose it. I can’t thank you or praise you enough for this jaw-dropping performance.
