Hopefully for the women it's not too late to save the league. I am a Pacers fan and go to their games. I'll be catching 4 or 5 Fever games this season. There were more viewers on national TV of the women's championship game then there was for the men's championship game. I'm also a Purdue fan. Nike = International Brand.
Many high-school & college girls in many basketball playing nations around the world can't wait to get her shoe. If the deal includes royalties after a certain amount of shoes sold, that $28m could easily skyrocket.

I don't think the other W players are going to hate her. She's brought so many eyes to the game, as did a lot of the other women in the most recent draft. I just took a look at Chicago sky tickets, even when they aren't playing fever, and they are near sold out. The support for the game has got rocketed through the roof. Sure, she spearheaded it, but many of these other women are going to hold down the fort. She deserves the 25 mil by the way

For now 28million deal looks expensive to someone around the basketball world.
When I can see Zion who has less impact on NBA or basketball elsewhere United States made 75million contract with Nike , Caitlin Clark who is already making a huge impact in the States and other countries out of U.S. should be valued over more than 75million.
We could only underestimate the value of it because she is just women’s basketball players and women’s basketball is less popular than men’s, but now too many things are change such a lot and even more faster than ever.
Even I, basketball mania from South Korea am rather becoming to prefer to watch women’s college basketball and now am ready to watch 2024 WNBA new season games.
These changes among people are really the deal and I am very sure this momentum shift is getting bigger and bigger around world.
Caitlin Clark is now becoming not only one women’s basketball player’s name and her name is becoming a symbolic movement about change around the whole Basketball World.
No one including me has never been expected to watch women’s basketball and WNBA before Caitlin Clark and to follow the WBB players with their each moves.
Hope Caitlin Clark and other young talents could keep their own selves going forward. Cheers to all. ❤🙏🏻👍🏻

Do the fans give a shit about you or not? Most didn't care about most of the WNBA players. Almost no one was "over." Now they're getting stars, people will tune in.
