I like your calm while working and your ceramic objects also radiate this peaceful calm ... very nice !! Do you use an engobe for the glaze and why does it tear so fine when you apply it (in one of your videos I saw it ... on leather-hard or scrapped shards ??) Do you use porcelain engobe? most likely just a kaolin slip, the crackles come from the refractory nature of kaolin creating differences in shrinkage between that and the clay body, you can also create a slip that reliably crackles on both bisque and green, usually a mix of kaolin and some feldspar or feldspathoid
