As we read the Word of God, we must keep in mind that the whole Bible is written to us, but the whole Bible is not necessarily written for us. Therefore, we must rightly divide the Scriptures in order not be confused ( most of Christendom is totally caught up in the tradition of men and not of God ) as to what IS required of the Body of Christ under Grace ( post resurrection) and what WAS required under the Law which was Legalism ( pre-resurrection). Legalism was a works religion. This amazing Grace of God is not of work. Grace is not a religion. Grace is God's unmerited favor poured out ( by his shed blood) upon sinful men ( men, women, boys and girls) Once saved, yes, we work for rewards that we will receive one day as a result of our salvation. We are not saved to sit but to glorify God in our bodies and all that we do and say. Secondly, we are to " win the lost " by sharing the Gospel whenever God gives us an opportunity to do so. Salvation itself is a FREE gift ( we dare not add to it or take away from it) to those of us who simply recognize that he or she is lost and in need of a Savior and that Christ is the remedy and believes that with all of their heart then God forgives all their sins past, persent, and future. Christ becomes our substitute through faith ( taking God at his word). We must understand what we read. Otherwise, all of our reading is in vain, and that is of no use to us. Romans 3:23, Corinthians 15:1-4. Faith + Nothing,= Salvation, 2 Timothy 2:15.

(Re wrote) in context to the video Today we didn't have the same eye opening events as Isreal. We did not witness the parting of the red sea. Or have a pillar of fire by night cloud by day. And even if we did, im sure we would still struggle with sin. Only we would be more àware

If you have any doubts about God's Word, that is unfortunate because mortal men can never understand the mind of God. We take all that he has revealed to us in his Word by faith. Isaiah 55-8-9, read Job chapter 38 and 39.

This is the second time out of my sleep I hear this teaching from Les and I actually enjoy listening to this more grace Glory to God.
