I am pretty sure it means that God is good, but He will take us out of our comfort zone and even into dangerous places so that through us His glory can be revealed to others. It's a hard message to understand, but the song is still excellent though.
No problem at all, I’ll try and help. Gable in the song ‘Not Safe’ is alluding to the fact that, and I quote, “God is good, God is wild, He’s anything but tame.” He is saying that the journey that God is leading us on is treacherous, the world would say it’s not safe. Everything from the way God loves, the way God is Holy, the way God is beautiful, the way God will leave the ninety and nine to find you, the way he will put EVERYTHING on the line for you, that is not safe. It is part of God’s nature, he is beautiful and wild at every turn, and it could be said by worldly standards that it is not safe. :) I hope that helps my friend
