Ppl that don't know about Motocross have no idea how amazing this sport is. These guys are elite physically ... incredible!
John Tomac was one of the greatest bicycle riders ever in all types of races, now he has passed on his two wheeled mastry onto his sone, John deserves way more credit then he gets, Eli is using skills never seen on motorcycles before, we all know where those skills came from, Thank you John , nad Eli for all you do.
That's some of the SICKEST riding (TOMAC) I've seen in yrs! Reminds me of the GOAT! Punctuated at 8:30 after the pass on Roczen!
Race of the year in 2018.....Tomac started way back, tipped over, had his pants FALLING DOWN the whole moto and still caught and passed them all. 2018 was a GREAT season for fans.

I was there warm weekend Tomac was a bulldog. I don’t know why they think SX is more prestigious than outdoors. Motocross is the epitome of racing dirt bikes no questions asked

Tomac is the fastest guy I’ve ever seen in the 25 years I’ve followed the sport. His raw speed and fitness is mind blowing. He’s faster than Roczen at Roczen’s strongest and I put money he’s faster than Herlings in a straight up race.
I'd certainly like to see it. Here's hoping Herling's comes over next year.
You must be smoking crack. A healthy Roczen was smoking Tomac, all you Tomac fans seem to forget this. Look what happened in the 2016 MX season, Roczen won damn near every race. Look at the begining of the 2017 SX season, prior to Roczen getting injured, Tomac had nothing for him.
That being said Tomac is the fastest man out there currently. I suspect things will change next year when Roczen is 100%.
It’s funny how people forget Tomac blew out both shoulders and before that was winning by over a minute outdoors.
deckard163 according to people at Kawi he wasn’t fully recovered until his second season. Herlings had nothing to lose at Ironman and Tomac was in the championship hunt. They split in Jacksonville. Herlings trains year round for outdoor while Tomac only trains half of that and he’s still as fast if not faster than Herlings. To say either one is faster than the other is absurd until they compete against each other in a full season.
deckard163 man I must've watched a diff race. Bc by my count no one on a 250 even came close to running a 2:14 in the first or second moto. Tomac ran 2 seconds faster than anyone in both motos of both classes. And not to mention in mxgp there has been a couple motos the 250 class ran faster times than herlings and carioli. Some tracks work like that the 250 guys will be faster than the 450's so your comment is kind a absurd there

carlos mascarenas LOL right?! I’ve been saying, whether intentional or not, Tomac seems to thrive at the chase. He’d rather lead every lap but you get a sense when he’s deeper in the pack that his radar goes on and he craves catching and passing people. Roczen was fast before his injuries but it seems Tomac has a higher dose of aggression, like when he rails those outside corners. Thing of beauty.

Un-fucking-believable! Wow, Eli is a beast. His focus and speed are just incredible. Even if he doesn’t win championships he’s my favorite as a spectator because he rides on the edge and it’s damn fun to watch.
I love watching Tomac win, he seems to always have a bad start or tip over and watching him gain the number one position through the pack is always pleasing. Don't forget the heater lap times he pulls out of his ass at the end of this race
Over on the MXGP side, many European people claim tomac wouldn't stand a chance against European riders. LMAO, roczen is from German, musquin is from France,,,, 94 and 25 came from Europe and both are decorated world champions, yet tomac can catch and pass either rider at will. !!

Im Tomac fan , Yes Tomac can pass any, it depends bcoz last year Herlings win s in Ironman. he rides only that round how about if he rides a whole season?? Im not saying Eli will not stand a chance to those European im just saying theres round you can ride like hell and you can easyly beat those guys And theres Round you lose.. As long as no dirty pass and fair..
Ringo Knight , herlings had/has every opportunity to be KTM's number one rider in America, cause musquin certainly isn't getting it done for the team. But herlings refuses to ride supercross.. same goes for ciroli.

Pala Otot I mean one race he was protecting a championship and another race he split Moto wins with herlings so I’d say he’s held his own 😂
DV710 DV710 yeah the first race it was justifiable because he was protecting the championship but the MXGP America he was outclassed by Herlings by taking the overall and mind you Tomac had nothing to lose in that race while Herlings was protecting his championship points.

He has the bike dialed now like he did when he was on that Honda in 2015. And we all now how he was dominating then. Roczen is awesome and I actually would love to see roczen win if tomac isn't able to win the race. But in 2016 roczen had it easy tomac was recouping and fig out the bike. It was musquins first year in the 450 class. So he was getting it fig out as well. And dungey got hurt
WCRider disagree. Roczen is WELL known for making passes immediately. Like, first lap... makes crazy passes to get up front. Roczen is a badass... and closest to tomac, easily.... but doesn't have tomcats speed/aggression. Imo.... no one does. Not on this planet. Unless... your in the sand...

He has to pass random drug tests for supercross as well which is co-sanctioned by the FIM and uses the same drug enforcement of the MXGP... the WAGA. The same used for the Olympics. I believe his results are a combination of natural talent, proper training and a lot of hard work.
With how freely they hand out the TUE... I am sure he is not. I mean they would not even approve Jason Anderson's Altitude Sickness medication.

Its April 2020 and Eli did it to k roc again at Daytona supercross. This was the year we were going to find out who was the best and then covid 19 hits the US and screwed it up dam. I am 62 years old raced late 70's before bike were water cooled and mono shocked and early 80's I've seen Hanna and Howerton battle Carmichael and Stewart the two Ryan's but I've never in all my years seen anybody blast a burm like Tomac did in moto #2 after he passed. Kenny for the win.They should make a poster of it comming out of that corner on 🔥fire blasting a 🐓 rooter tail all the way through. Enter, APEX,exiting burmolgy at its finest.
