I just met V during JK's birthday. I hardly know him at all. But I'm very pleased to have met V while the album was being released. After watching the slow dance MV, I immediately knew that this was a reflection of V. He is a detailed person, very intelligent, an artist, a special person, charming, all these things I felt even though I didn't even know this man. I like the album and everything that V does. He has the courage to do his own thing. V is bringing color to the music industry. This is not just the financial industry but it is a balance of diversity. A true artist traveling into the unknown.
Spot on! He’s a STAR, a Diva (in all positive ways) and has the most touching heart. But also, a real Tiger defending those he love and what he sees as righteous.

Wonderful Analysis Bahare! For starters, it is not at all a simple album for sure. I could understand 25% when the album was released, and with your insight, now I am at 60%. Hoping to get to at least 90% in the coming days by viewing/ listening again and again. Yes, LayoVer is a precious treasure which keeps on giving… Thank you Taehyung!!!
The first 12 minutes and i m crying! The separation and the burnout era was really hard on taekook and listening through their music makes me feel sad and proud at the same time. As for the analysis, thank you so much for doing a voice over and explaining everything. Tae is a very creative person, and for making the video in such a way that we wont know until we actually look into them properly.
BUT, to think tan was an actual person at the end made sense after explaining everything(if you had mentioned it before, i would be so confused!) Tae confessing and accepting his feelings and asking for a second chance out here in the open is very bold of him to share such a vulnerable side!! i m very proud of him! and support him till the end.

The 3D could also mean the 3D animations he was doing of himself in the videos. My son is a 3D artist working for a company that makes videogames. This way Tae made a promotion for Jungkook's single at the same time as he explained how he used animation to clone himself to be different people. He has said before that he has many personas in himself and uses them for different situations and especially songs. He feels deeply with the songs he sings and really gets in the mood no matter what song they perform. So he gets sad on a sad song, happy on a happy song etc. That's why his voice makes people cry on bts's sad songs and especially also on his own cover of "Someone like You" by Adele. He makes people feel the songs and it's even more noticable for us internationals before they give us the english lyrics. We kind of already know what the song is about just from hearing his voice...
All I know is that ! TAE is my Divo and Jungkook. It's my happy pill, and when I heard "layover," I was so excited. He gave us the opportunity for him to express how he feels, not what someone wrote. He is a Guinness in my eyes.💜🎶🤙

About the empty plate...it reminded me of a christmas tradition in my country when we put an extra empty plate on a christmas table for a person who is missing, usually a beloved person who died and who we want to meet again at least on christmas day. So empty plate symbolizes someone we miss and want to meet again.

And the theory with rainy days like you said with little prince (that tae and Jungkook both are familiar with) also makes sense kinda have a same visions. Like in the rainy days where the little prince wanna explore the world away from the rose but at the end he how many roses he sees, he just misses that one rose he's dear to. Like in slow dancing he tries to move on, explore more but at then end he just can't and his mind is back to that one person, that rose, he's longing.

Finally got to watching. Firstly, your voice over analysi's are my absolute favorite. Thank you for breaking down the album and making it make sense in relation to Taekook. I made some links myself but your work goes deep, and I mean DEEP😂.
At the end of it all, I don't know how to feel because this analysis took me way back to thise really really bad days for Taekook and thinking about that makes me emotional, sad. But throughout all those harrowing times one thing is true..they've been there for one another, if sometimes not physically but in spirit. And I love that he used Tannie to represent Jk and show that he indeed was with him through all the trials.
I remember in one of your analysis of Tae's songs where he said he could not be himself or was showing a face to the world that was different to what he was or felt like inside? I'm paraphrasing but something to that effect. It was also a voice over. The concept of multiple Vs in the Mvs remimded me of that. Hmm, now I have to go search and watch.

You totally exceeded my expectations on your very sensitive analysis of Layover and all it’s past, present and future connections. As you’ve been around for a long time (no offence) I know you fully understand the significance of the motivation behind the lyrics used (even if not his own), the references through items chosen for visual aides, the choice of cast members etc. People often underestimate how clever Taehyung is and how in touch he is with art as a concept. He chose people to be on his team who would be able to understand his thought process and bring it to life.
I often think that we, who support Taekook, are often misunderstood and underestimated too. We see things others don’t or won’t accept and are sometimes vilified for it. I’d like to think we’re more enlightened or maybe just our brains are wired differently. Whatever it is I’m glad to have it as watching these two wonderful human beings grow into the most splendid representatives of human kind has been a fabulous experience. When faced with such pressure of expectation from their country, community and company they have remained grounded, honest (as much as is allowed), humble and hard working.

Nice catch! Speaking of straight vs curvy, in JKs SEVEN, I found it interesting that he says “I … trace your lines.” I know it rhymes but usually tracing your lover’s CURVES comes to mind if it’s indeed a female. LINES brought to mind a male body. I felt like JK was singing that song to Tae!
Thanks so much for the detailed analysis, your videos never disappoint! In a way it's sad that we are missing 3 very crucial songs that could have probably highlighted the progress of their relationship down the years but I have to say with them living in a homophobic country & still have to serve in the military, it wud be in their best interest that things stay in the closet for the moment. I won't be surprised if they both shift to the US & decide to live a more free life there once they're done wid service. As for us Taekookers, we are so lucky to be able to recognise such a beautiful love exchange between two amazing talented souls... and vice versa, I suppose they're lucky to have our unconditional love and support! 💚💜🤘

I don't know whether or not I agree with all of your theories and analysis, but I appreciate all of the effort you put into the analysis. Everything was well thought out and articulated. Also, I know the credits say that KTH had no part in writing the songs, but even I, as a novice fan, noticed key phrases that I have heard him (or JK) say at various times. It is really weird how the album seems so personal given that he didn't compose the songs.
Do we know all the contributors? I know some artists who have used a pseudonym when writing lyrics, so they aren’t easily identified as a writer of their own songs. I have wondered as the lyrics seem very personal

Многое мне конечно не понятно, так как перевод на русский язык не совсем корректен. Но одно мне точно стало ясно, что сама компания никогда бы не выпустила такие глубокие по замыслу песни. Именно по этой причине Тэхен вынужден был обратиться с стороннему продюсеру Мин Хи Джи. Я благодарна ей , что она помогла средактировать и выпустить ТэХену альбом. Учитывая смысл песен теперь я понимаю, когда он говорит, что эти песни это это другой «Я». И если группе БТС важны места в чартах, билбордах, премии ( особенно ГРЕММИ), то ему было просто важно донести посол своей личности в тот период жизни. V did a stage performance where he had pictures of Vincent Van Gogh on the wall to his right - that’s the name he gave to JK due to his art skill’s and when JK was helping or teaching V art. Also The cloud in Slow Dancing is white & looks like a “Winter Bear” Remember JK asking him who’s the Bear. I also think the stars ✨ on V’s face may relate to astrology.

i must say when i heard the "girl" part in slow dancing i kinda giggled bc to me it seems like it was just put up there. theres an old tumblr post, i believe??? that says "the girl thrown out at random in a gayass song so it doesnt seem gay at all" and thats what it felt like to me. theres also what you said about gay singers using female pronouns in their songs before coming out which i agree wholeheartedly.
i thought about the yeontan being a representation of taes former lover theory since rainy days, i think its clear in its explicitly. the red and blue being both on seven and layover caught me by surprise tho, i havent really paid attention to it (just focused on the green/purple ones)
i believe the three songs that havent reached us were the part where the lovers finally get back together kinda closing the storytelling of the album but we all know the reason why they werent released in the first place 🥴 (id like to see their mvs too, love me a visual album but maybe in the future right??? i wanna believe hahaha

Your analysis is spot on. You get down to the smallest details...things most people would overlook. I believe in Taekook. But Id be lying if I said, I didnt think they are going to be enduring some tough times ahead and I'm curious if their relationship will suffer because of it. JK's work and solo success will only take him further from home and for longer periods of time. I wonder what the distance will do since they are accustomed to being in each other's presence. And then military service separation as well. I wonder what the future holds. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

But even though jungkook has said it's not autobiographical abt golden bcoz of the lyrics being more explicit and wanting a global pop song especially ther artists parts..but in the talk with Suga when he explains the song sequences and the parts that he sings.... It's clear that it's abt taekook...Starting with 3d (se*ting and wanting to take it to next level like beyond phone... 2015/16 maybe), closer to you (back n forth relationship especially this line we're not meant to blend in, blended with all your friends), seven (2017 after jk turned 20 korean age), standing next to you ( how good they r together and that he gonna b right next to V in this fire), yes or no (same time period relationship I guess wanting to know if it's love not just fling..wanting commitment), please dont change (wanting an off camera life to experience this relationship), hate you (seperation maybe coz of company), somebody (letting go), too sad to dance (this one is abt the night which is often discussed in interviews... My partner even likes his album and I can’t even get my partner to listen to majority of BTS’s songs, so that’s saying a lot about Tae’s album. What I am surprised about from your video is that you didn’t mention the similarity to JK of the guy that Tae was slow dancing with in the “Slow Dancing” video.
