In the pause menu, on the left you can see your controller that shows button bindings. There is a reset/restart button, and on joycons by default it is bound to the minus button.
You also don't have to get silver or higher to watch replays either. All you have to do is beat the level, no matter how slow, and then you can view the top times. You also always get a medal when you finish. Bronze is given if you don't get silver or better.

During the Summer Games Done Quick 2020 Online, Wirtual played the entiere Trackmania Nation Forever as part of a fundraising for Doctors Without Borders. The fundraising had a donation goal associated with a bonus shortcut showcase. The showcase alone lasts about 20mn and has some really cool shortcuts. I think it'd be interesting to make a video of your reaction to the showcase.

Shoutout to my boy @MazikMB at 7:13 for landing this shortcut I found after weeks of attempting it.
I also found the route at 16:43 and @BerserkWolf landed it after just 4 days.
Obviously not as optimized as the official levels but the route used by @m2k. in the custom level at the beginning is pretty sweet.
