Whereas games are higher scoring now. Nowadays there seems to be more games of 42-41, 48-45 and such. Not that a 76-0 game was unheard of back then, Mark May still cries about that every chance he gets.
How horrible was Brent Musburger in this game? Was he already deteriorating by then or maybe just off that day. Because there were some cringe inducing calls.
If Georgia had beaten Florida in Jacksonville the week before then Miami loses at Tennessee the BCS national championship game at the fiesta Bowl would've been Ohio State verses the Georgia bulldogs in the 2002 season
