I’m always amazed when artists can hear these complex runs that harmonize with the original melody, like they are another instrument playing. I can only mimic what they do once I practice, but would never be able to hear that for the first time while singing

The runs were really impressive, but in addition to the runs, the section I like most is where there is a change of rhythm and pace after "2:17", exactly at "2:23" all the way through "2:50" is like warm smooth butter with a two-step waltz/strut/sachet. The bass line in that section is incredible. Amazing musicianship throughout the entire recording. This needs a full-up artistic video. For sure (Fa-sho!). Excellent work Darrel Walls.
