I am impress with the unit. I went and ordered mine thru Midway. Had it in stock plus it came with the Parabolic Bracket. Looking forward to using it. Now i can get rid of my LabRadar. I really like how you can use it with pistols also.
I bought one 6 month ago and it is the worst thing I have ever used. I'm an experienced shooter and reloader and have used a labradar for many years. This Bulletseeker unit is crap to start with, turning this thing on is a problem, the button does not respond 7 times out of 10. The app is crap, hard to set up and hard to track what it has recorded. Confusing to use, hard to add a shot to a string, hard to delete a shot in a string. 8 times out of 10 it does not read the speed. If it tracks the speed, you don't know which string it has added to. I have spend so much time trying to level it with barrel, line up with target, avoid muzzle blast. it just does not work. I found it hard to beleive that a product like this could be sold on the market. And heap of CZcamsrs a saying good things about it. Me and at least 3 other shooters are having the same problems over and over again. If it takes an experienced shooter this much effort to get it to detect a speed. It is not a good product. It can not compare to my Labradar. I have contacted the agent and they said it's an alignment issue and my app is old version and I need to spend another $200 to buy a parabolic adaptor. They also said they have a lot of problems with the first batch of products and will give me a replacement. But I really don't like the experience so far. It is a total waste of time and money.
This product is Absolute frustrating, I have bought one when they first come out about 2 years ago, it failed to perform on the first day, can't track speed, missing heaps of shots or even hard to turn on with that stupid little button. And that is the only button to use on this unit. I had a replacement unit from the agent with a Parabolic adapter, then it failed again, it started tracking every gun's shots on the range and I had to turn it off to stop it from collecting other peoples speed. But then the button failed and it could not be turn on again. Even when it was working well, it misses at least 2 shots out of 5, I had all kinds of rifles tested and tried all kinds of mounting and alignment methods. Most of them work okay if your can turn the unit on with that stupid small button but all of them miss shots occasionally. I have wasted so much time and ammo and had a lot of frustration. I'm in contact with the seller to get my money back, I have lost my confidence with this product. Don't buy it because there is a CZcams review on a new product.
Thank you for doing a review. I really want to buy one but there are many mixed reviews and a grand is a lot of money to me. I cant find their website to see what firmware their on. I mostly shoot and reload pistol and havent seen anyone use one at a indoor range.
I haven't tried it indoors. But I would think it would work ok. I use it for creating custom loads for pistol and rifle also. It's pretty handy. It's expensive, but I'll say it really feels well built for what that's worth. And I know I won't pull a stupid and shoot the dam thing like I've done with other chronographs in the past. But that was my own fault, lol...
I bought one of these but am having an issue. It’s detecting non existent firings continuously. The manual says to charge the device which is did but the same result. Is this common?
I haven't had any issues myself. I did make sure I had the latest firmware for starters which I'm sure you did. If you had it mounted on the gun, it could possibly pick up a "bump" of the gun as a shot if the harmonics are right.(especially on a rifle). If you had it on the gun, try setting it to the side and see if it continues to detect. Maybe you have an over sensitive sensor. I'd get with the manufacturer also on that. 👍

Where did you get the picatinny rail adapter for the tripod from?
They had it from Bullet seeker, but you can find one from any of the shooting outlets like optics planet.com...
nice, what is the velocity range for this tool? Can i use it also for subsonic load developement?
Reads up to 4000fps and will work great for load development. That's what I use it for myself!
