It has been a while since I looked at one of these watches which has a quick look at the conventional, 3 hand rule book, then ignores it entirely. This is very well made, I think, for the money, almost too well made as the weight makes it a bit top heavy and bobbly. But if you fancy owning 'the most interesting watch in the room' then this might fit the bill nicely. So long as none of your friends own a Richard Mille. Cheers, Jody

I own a blue XERIC halo 2 with a brass case. The watch is extraordinary and feels well-made. I’ve had it for nearly 2 years. It is a conversation starter for sure. The automatic movement is quite accurate, and once you wear it a couple of times it is very easy to quickly tell the time. A beautiful and unique piece of horology!

I love mine and didn't pay a lot for it. I sent a pic of it to my sister Diane and asked her, "what time is it" and she replied......"It's CRAZY time"!!! That was hilarious. I have no problem reading the time on these watches. It does sit high off the wrist but I don't mind. It feels good on mine. Nice video Jody!!!

I'm definitely a diver's watch man, but I quite like this watch. As a halograph watch, I think it's easier than some others to read. Definitely quite steampunk! The short hidden lug to hidden lug length is interesting, but I think the top-heaviness of this watch is the only downer for me. Nice review though, Jody!

I got the Xeric Soloscope SQ about 3 years ago. It was only the second watch I ever purchased, but it made me exited about many other watches and now I own 10 from different brands. I will admit that it is not my best quality watch but then again, I did buy it for just $200 (originally $300) and for that, it was really worth the expense with the fun it brought (and still brings). However, it is still my favorite watch to wear when going to any kind of gathering and looks good with any casual wear I own.
Xeric plays by their own rules of watch design and owns it.

I ordered a Trappist-1 just about a month ago, and it has been a saga. I paid for 3 day shipping but it took 12 days for the watch to arrive. When it did show up the crystal was cracked. The box had no signs of damage, so I suspect it left the factory that way. I contacted customer support and they provided a return shipping label after a few days. Unfortunately, the label had the addresses reversed so a few days after I mailed it, it showed back up in my mailbox. I contacted them again and got a corrected label, so the watch is back in transit. At this point, I don't have much hope that I'll see a proper watch in my hands before October.
A comedy of errors, but I don't think I'll be buying another Xeric, thank you very much.
