- Matthew Perry is an awesome table tennis player, so while he was here, Ellen challenged him to a match. Unfortunately, halfway through, Ellen had to call in a replacement for herself - table tennis champ Ariel Hsing!
He might not be good at table tennis, but hes good at having a unlimited supply of table tennis balls in his small pocket.

Lol just look at his posture, he never even tried. She's good but anybody who has played this sport seriously could easily return those serves.
He still got a couple of points against someone who looks table tennis aficionado which is incredible.

about 10 years ago, I saw him play in a celebrity tennis match with Dr. Phil and some other celebrities/pro tennis players in UCLA. He was actually really good!
For anyone pointing out her being Asian as a negative, just look at the three little letters on the front of her jersey: U, S, and A. Her name is Arial Hsing and she plays for the United States of America (think of the Disney hockey movie "Miracle").
She's good enough to represent the entire country. OUR country. How many of us will ever do that?

Ariel and I are good friends :) she represents usa and I represent Australia. We both competed at the Korean junior open just past week! Had soo much fun! Went shopping together and washed clothes together! She is actually really hyper and such an amazing player and friend!
The moral of this video is that whatever your good at, an Asian kid can do it better

The technique was illegal here. The player has to keep the ball in his palm and push it up in the air, after which the player can hit with paddle.
