Coach mam, the way you explained the rule is fantastic and easy to understand.... Now I m getting the basic rule ... Of badminton... People play just for fun...they don't the basic rule.... Which I think everyone at least know the fundamental rule of badminton....thanks you so much COACH.... watching yours video from INDIA.....

Great video. Thanks Kennie, your explanations are always clear and instructive
Thank u very much! 😁🏸
Thanks coach Kennie for excellent content in this channel. Some doubles rule deep-dive questions. 1. Does the receiving player always have to stand on his side of court? In other words, if he returns with his feet touching his partner's court, will it be opponent's point? 2. If you know initial serving and receiving positions of players, can you calculate back to determine their positions in mid-play?
1. As a recieved, you can only stand within the box you a re recieving from.
2. You can calculate sure and that would be your anticipation of return. Hopefully, the anticipation is right😁🏸
I started playing this Monday. Participating in my first ever doubles. Absolutely loving the game.
Your video is informative.

Hi i want to know if you're serving does the side box count in the serve as well or just the smaller inner box?
Very impormative video!!! I just have some question about serving rules, what if I committed service fault is that an athomatic point for my opponent?
thank you it will help me play better
Very very informative clears all doubt
Thank you! 😁🏸
Thanks for your very clear explanations. I had the chance to discover this great sport by playing a little bit on a Chinese University campus and I truly like it. I never understood really the meaning of this field line at the back of the field (was it for single or double games?). now, I got it: delimiting the service area. I'm planning to watch all your videos and practice to prepare for my next travel to China!
Thank u very much for your kind words! If u get a chance to go to china, you will definitely enjoy badminton there!!😁🏸
@@CoachKennieAsuncion I started watching your videos, and there is so much great advice for beginners. I should be in China in a year, with the opportunity to play there. I have one year to train a little bit to not make them ashamed of me when I play. Here in Canada, hockey is not a sport but a religion. I have the same feeling about badminton in China.
this helped me a lot to understand the rules better
Great! 😁🏸
This helps soo much thanks
Thank you! 😁🏸

Can I change my racket from the right hand to left hand during a rally in badminton?
Thank you❤ dear coach for building a new badminton players world better and better.
Thank you for your kindness and continued words of support! 😁🏸
Is bat clash is a foul ? Pls reply
Mam if the server serve apart from diogonaly, but to the opposite side court in and player of this court receive this suttle ,the rally is going or not.
Superb explanation ❤️
Thank you so much!!😁🏸
Bruh it’s my first game today and I forgot the rules, here I am😔

You’re very welcome! 😁🏸
You are the best always... Dear coach

Thank you!! 😁🏸
Your videos are very informative and helpful.....thank you for uploading
Thank you too! 😁🏸
Your video are very helpful for me thank you for uploading🙏
Hey really liked the video, a quick question is there any rule about how high the shuttle should go during service me and my opponents had a fight about this and we are confused, hope you can clear my doubt thank you
Well for doubles specifically, you dont want high serves that can put you in an instant defensive position😁🏸
Thanks mam this is very important for us
Thank you too! 😁🏸
Maam do we have a base player? or any player can position as a receiver and server?
Thanks Coach!
You’re welcome😁🏸
nice thanks for the education good to know now i'm gonna train and have fun untill i can be in real court
Great!!😁🏸
hello ma'am can you explain what this mean "Faults called in double server, when the servers partner fails to see the server" ?
Thank You So Much 🥰
You’re welcome😁🏸
Thanks for this😍😍😍
You’re welcome! 😁🏸
Thanks for the video on vaic rules. It cleared some of my doubts. Is there any logic for switching courts at 11 points in third set?
*basic rules*
I think its just making it even for both in terms of court. Especially in international competitions there are venues that have some draft from the aircon on one side or maybe a blind spot due to certain light structures😁🏸
hello coach, can you describe and show the correct way to serve to avoid making faults while serving? don’t really get the part of rackethead must face downwards
Ok will do! Noting it down! 😁🏸
Can the racket cross the net (above or below) without touching it?
Thanks for good information mam👍👍😊
Thank you too! 😁🏸
Thank u so much this mam...
You’re welcome😁🏸
Presentation using model of badminton court is great idea
Thanks😁🏸
side line criteria during serve for double?
Hi Coach, sorry i have a question... if the server serve, does the receiver can move out from box to hit the shuttle... for example if the server serve a bit high and slow just over the net, then the receiver hit the shuttle near net to hot the shuttle to the ground... it is consider faul?
Firstly when the serve is near the net, its a giveaway so dont hit it & its an automatic point but if you’r unsure if its falling to the line or maybe accidentally hit it back, the rally goes on until someone misses. Once the shuttle is hit from the serve it has to go back in to the other side of the court😁🏸
Hi Ma'am best regards, I'm always confused by who is receiving the opponent serve is it the last service or the one who is standing in service court.
Example: Blue player is the last service and he serve at the right side now the service is over and the opponent needs to serve on the left side. Is it the blue player to receive maam? Or the player standing on the left side?
Thank you in advance for answering ma'am 😄❤
Good vedio ate.☺️👍
Salamat! 😁🏸
Thank you very much coach
You’re very welcome😁🏸
Thank you very much, coach! I have a question. Does this rule “whichever wins the first set serves first on the second set” apply to singles?
Yes… that is applicable when moving to the 3rd set😁🏸
@@CoachKennieAsuncion Thank you very much, coach!
Kennie, what if the shuttle lands on any of the outer lines, is it IN or OUT?
Depends where the cork of the shuttle lands first if it hits the lines still in 😁🏸
Best explanation ever 👍
Thank u😁🏸
I have a doubt. If the racquet's of the players of same team clash, is it a fault and the point is awarded to the other team?
So meaning, if the point is odd number, it will be on the left side, if even number, it will be on the right side??
good.
What if my racket clashes with another player's racket and the shuttle hits my racket and goes to the other side?
WELL THERE NO ERROR ON THAT , AS FAR THE SHUTTLE DIDNT HIT TWICE ...
As long as only one racket hit the shuttle and it goes over the net then the rally continues on. 😁🏸
Hello, can I ask if which event is more complex in terms of rules? The singles or doubles?
For rules doubles will be a bit more complex.😁🏸
Good explanation
Thank you! 😁🏸
Hi kenniie if service touches the last box front line in doubles is it in or out
That is considered in😁🏸
Hello po Coach Kennie!
ano po ang easiest explanation ng serving rules? sa doubles
like for example hindi alam kung sino naman ang seserve?
Good morning mam, in doubles if the rally is on the when taking the rocket tow bats are clash is allowed
Clash is allowed as long as its not a double hit to the shuttle😁🏸
Besttt💕
Awww thanks!! ❤️😁🏸
When server serves it shd get into box of opponent...but as rally continues...will that box expand to outside lines?
Box to diagonal box is only for serves after that you can hit it anywhere within the court😁🏸
Thank you for the advice mam
You’re welcome! 😁🏸
Thx a lot
You’re welcome! 😁🏸
Hi kennie thanks for the detailed video on doubles rules. Please suggest some good even balance badminton raquets with high tension
Rackets are personal, from the size of the grip to a head heavy or head light racket. You have to know your own game and from there pick a good racket! 😁🏸
Thanks
Thank you❤🎉🏸🏸🏸
kayo po yung pinapanood namin sa CD pa yun way back 2006-2007. Kaya kami natuto maglaro ng badminton
Salamat ng marami!! Appreciate it😁🏸
Thanks for the video madam well explained and Understandable one doubt madam if racket cross top of the net to other side while net smash then what it is correct or foul
Racket should not go over your side of the court but front attack do have that forward movement and sometimes goes a bit over the net, that should be ok but it will depend on what your umpire sees and decide😁🏸
If the person serves to the same side of the court and the opposite player's body touches the shuttle or they hit tje shuttle is the game stopped and point goes to server?
Pls check this link and hopefully it sheds light to your question:
czcams.com/video/veWeH1Lkle8/video.html
😁🏸
is the switch players during the 3rd set after reaching the 11 scores applied also in single?
Yes😁🏸
Can the cork touch the middle line of the reciever's end while serving?
Yes 😁🏸
Dear Coach what will happen if 1-3-5 number serve from right court to right court and opponent player hits the shuttle or not hits
The umpire will definitely call you out before you even get to serve. However, if you are only playing with friends and make a mistake, you can stop and redo the serve or continue on and make necessary adjustments for the next point. 😁🏸
In third set, on 11 points side will change.... ok...
But tell me that on change of sides where the players stand.... means even side player can stand on odd side.. or he will be on even side..?????
coach can I ask, In badminton, what do you call a situation in which both opposing players have the same score?
The umpire would say the score as 1 all or 10 all … 😁🏸
A friend of mine is very flexible that he can do behind the back hitting. Sometimes he applies the same technique on his serves too. More like a behind the back serve by keeping the shuttlecock on his left hand & moving the racket behind his back (to the left/reverse) to hit it. Will that be considered a wrong serve ? or is it still ok ? 😅
And I have two more doubts. 1. While in doubles & when I serve (or before I serve) can my co-player put his foot in my side (or box) ?
2. Is long serve considered a foul in doubles ? I mean for a good long serve the shuttlecock has to be dropped from a good height na ? but according to the rules we can only keep the shuttle below our last rib (or waist) na ? that got me confused.
I don’t think you’ll ever see any pro doing a behind the back serve simple bec it slows your movement for the next shot. Behind the back shots are fancy shots just something nice to look at and might possibly be done with a fast exchange but thats about it.
Your partner can stand behind you when u serve even if 1 foot is in 1 box and the other foot on your side.
Serving high for doubles is rare bec the back part is put for serve so when u make a high serve that is in mid court most likely your opponent gets the upperhand in attacking u! 😁🏸
@@CoachKennieAsuncion so all of them still fine according to the rules, right ?
