TrancedForLife trust me, they're still the same sigur rós, just one less member and a new sound. they've also got an eighth album coming out this year and i'm excited for that!!
1999 i saw sigur ros in munich bongo bar with all in all maybe 150-200 peolpe... they were totally unknown at that time. i swear that was not only the greatest concert which i saw ( and i saw ALOT ), that was one of the greatest experiences i had. i will never forgett that night. i had goosebumps all over my body even days after that concert!!!! im a big sigur ros fan since then and i saw them more than 10 times or so. unfortunately i don't like their last album, because i miss kijartan very much. the band ist not the same since he left. he played a major major rolle!!! regardless they are extraordinary musicians and a TREMENDOUS life band.

fantastic music, the more I hear from them the more I love their music especially the experimental way of playing the guitar - Josi with the Cello-bow and the otherone with the drumstick!

You sound like this was like 30 yrs ago or more. This was maybe 10 years ago? And many musicians make as great music as them.
