@@aeroga2383 actually the ps1 suffered from texture warping in general but it wasn't as noticeable back in the day since everyone played on CRTs which helped hide it better

That game was fun, the thing that killed me though was how the school became more and more desolate as the game went on. By the end of the game there weren't any NPCs running around because they disappeared as you finished their quests.

I played the fuck out of this and the Chamber of Secrets game as a kid and never for the life of me did I ever realise Jeremy Soule was the composer. That just blew my fucking mind.

I remember playing this game back in the day, that voice acting and music is so memorable - this game itself is actually pretty good - those flying challengers were BRUTAL as a kid. Hope to see you play more.

I got this game for Christmas. No matter how bad it may look, it'll always hold a special place in my heart.
That's my experience with it as well. Me and my dad bonded over this game along with the ps1 version of Chamber of Secrets as well.

Did anyone else play the PC version of this game? I remember playing it all the time as a little kid. It looked similar but played differently and the game actually seemed to follow (mostly) the book, instead of these random trials all the time.
well i think most people got PS1 back then first and then PC probably later.. At least i got my PS1 in 2000 and i got PC in like 2003. I did later on play this game on PC as well since i thought it was different but actually it was the same.

Yeah I remember the PC version of this game, I also remembered confusing the PC version of chamber of secrets with the PS2 version a lot cause I seemed to play them one after the other as a kid.
The music from the Harry Potter games was made by Jeremy Soule, same guy who did the music for The Elder Scrolls.
Hogwarts Neutral is my favorite composition of his.
Diagon Alley Theme is fantastic
Ps1 games always had such good atmosphere. I loved the wonky graphics as a kid. As an adult, i still do for some reason. It also feels nostalgic now, so it's even better.
These games are pure nostalgia!
Keep playing this one or go for the Chamber of Secrets also on the PS1, either way I'm on board

Probably never beat this game to be honest
back then the games were very hard, and for someone who is like 7-10 years .. Most of us didn't have memory card so i was having tough time to finish it as well.

The artwork in this game was great. It was sorta inspired by the films but still managed to somehow have its own identity.
If I remember correctly the movie was far from finished when the game was being made, which is why it doesn't feature cutscenes, music or dialogue from the film.

Hey I had this game! I played it so much with my sister, and we didn't own a memory card so we just had to play until we got stuck and start again the next time. Eventually we played it so much we could beat it in one day.
