i love how 2-Ds eyes only turn white when he is happy or away from Murdoc. it really shows how Murdoc effects his mood.
I think it's cuz of his hyphema and whenevr Murdock would hit him it would cause his brain injury to make his eyes fill with blood

@@MegaOverclocked ahh makes sense, the humility video I really feel gives that context since it was sort of about 2d holding out hope for Murdoch, even if in such a way to make things too easy for him to come back and have everything "normal" all over again, 2d being genuine and the others maybe taking him too sentimental for his own and the band's own good. I get the feeling 2d is upset and confused about the band's relationship with Murdoch, he's really crossed multiple lines and things are different. His mind's not where it should be

Murdoc in the joy/shame whichever he truly recieves it as of isolation and deviancy, noodle texting and being social media active and Russel is a very fit man compared to his previous illustrations, he's come far with his body but he's obviously using it as a massive relief by the determination and the last punch
Noodle though being the most on task probably doing publicity for the band and brands after noticing something is a bit wacky in the studio she heads to the basement to unplug the sorta artifact that is causing the mass delve into relaxation and indulgence

Andrew Hedstrom He’s technically dead... so he’s rotting... he sold his soul to the devil before the band started.
So, I'm really curious about Murdoc's little time out shack and I see barely anyone talking about it and all the weird little details.
The box he's sitting in is an Orgone accumulator which is some pseudoscience rubbish that you basically sit in and depending on where to look either is a form of therapy or increases libido.
The door itself looks pretty manic, covered in (claw marks?) scratches and has a lot of writing all over it, including a really old fashion way to say 'no entry'. The post-it note on the door says 'Freud bacon and eggs' which is a phrase linked to propaganda.
Inside, other than his uh- "photography collection" is more deep scratches and the phrase "Phantom tollbooth" with a tally of 12 under it
This could all mean nothing at all but it was interesting to look at. The only thing I can confirm is Murdoc is a complete nutcase

The Phantom Tollbooth! Dang that just took me back!
I read that one as a kid. It's a pretty great story about a really bored kid that gets a purple plastic tollbooth out of nowhere and starts playing with it. He kind of ends up in an 'Alice in Wonderland' type world where the Kingdom of Words is at odds with the Kingdom of Numbers. Along the way are cities based on Illusions and Reality, a forest based on Sounds and Colors, Mountains based on Perspective and Fears, the 5 Senses and other similar themes. As well as a pair of Princesses to rescue from a floating Castle.
And of course along the journey, the kid realizes that he had never really paid attention to the things around him in his life, and so learns to appreciate what he has. It's a pretty great little story!
@@themisfitowl2595 I was in that play at my school as a kid!! Thought it was such a random choice at the time, but it was a lot of fun. Seeing it referenced in a Gorillaz music video makes me happy lol, I played one of the word merchants and Princess Reason 😂❤

I believe it might be a reference to the Rhythm Heaven minigame "Figure Fighter", as the animations are eerily similar. You may have noticed that every Pac-Man Ghost is assigned to one of the band members, but did you notive that they all wear something that fits the color of the ghosts ? 2D has a blue ghost necklace, Ruzzle has the green Fist as a charm on his head. Murdoc has a white cross for the white ghost and Noodles wears orange headphones.
